but thing is....ironically....post divorce my father always dated women his age, or older. He was a seriously good looking' guy, and he could so easily have been dating the barely legal PYT's. But, he never did. I think he enjoys satisfying convos with women he views as peers. Crazy...right...? lol..

I have gone out with my younger brother (who is tall and good looking) and had guys compliment him with, "Damn bro!  You need to marry her!"  Naturally, my brother and I gagged in horror.

And just now, as I was out walking with my male cousin, a random dude yelled at us, "NICE!"

Ever been out with your daughter or sister and guys patted you on the back, or called you stud?  How did you react?

Or a strange lover could be your family member...by mistake.
 So many possibilities here...

Strangers ever mistake your family member for your lover?

Both are highly accomplished people who also happen to be gorgeous (her) and handsome (him).  They were walking hand in hand in lower Manhattan when someone passing by looked at them and said, "You two need to procreate!" And they did.  And she's adorable.

If they had been related, yes, it would have been more than weird.
PS: I like pink panties.  I hear big guy wears them.

I had a couple of friends who were both models.  They had met on a shoot somewhere and ended up getting married.  By far the best looking couple I'd ever seen.  I moved away before too long, so I don't know if they had kids or not, but it would be a shame if they didn't :)

less than 20 yrs age diff between us. And he easily looked 10 yrs younger than he was. Always Awkward. I found it vaguely amusing. But, I think he was mortified when it happened. I always tried to find a way to slip in a comment that let others know we were  father/daughter.

"what looks good on the menu..DAD...?"....lol....

My most recent ex was about ten years younger than me (and she died her hair, which I don't).  If I was teasing her in a public place, especially an elevator, she'd look at one of the other passengers, point at me and faux whisper, "He's my uncle!"
Sometimes she'd just say, "DAD!"
I found it cute.

than random guys commenting to my dad about how hot they thought his 'date' was.....picture a man folding himself inside out in a mild panic as he points-out that the hottie at his side is his daughter.

And, then.....the weirdly awkward silence from the admirer...oops....sooooo sorry.....lol..

She loves that an old friend said her boobs were the best part of her personality.  As for your dilemma, did you ever think that most of the guys your Dad told you were his daughter still thought you were something else entirely?  Men are such pigs. LOL!

And that's fine. But after a couple of marriages I no longer buy, I rent.  Whatever works.

But my dad is so father-like and stern.  There's not mistaking who he is lol

at least with fathers/daughters where there is a very small age difference. My dad is pretty father-like and stern too. But, when you see a handsome 40 something guy out with an attractive 20 something woman.....? Some people make assumptions.

And....some people are clearly too stupid to refrain from commenting on their assumptions-----e.g.....giving the guy a high-5! Score dude!

while on leave after basic training I did a road trip with my mother... people kept giving scathing looks at the cougar taking advantage of the young GI. She asked me to wear my civvies for the rest of the trip...

I was just talking about this just yesterday, but I was walking with my daughter about 6 months back and this lady was spraying her perfume garbage in the mall.  I said "no" and moved along but she snagged my daughter.  So I end up having to listen to this lady ramble on for about 2-3 mins and she says something akin to "oh you're husband will love this"  My head shot up and my daughter "Thats my DAD!"  The lady was of course mortified.  She stumbled, saying I looked much younger and my daughter much older etc etc.  We laugh about it, and needless to say, no sale.

My daughter was fortunate enough to get most of her looks from her mom. She is a beautiful young lady and even does some fitness-type modeling.  Every time we are out, I can always see the looks from other guys who assume I am her sugar-daddy or john.  People think they are being discreet, but I hear a lot of whispers like "he must be loaded."

Especially with the youngest one. We're always quick to correct them.
