And I'm the opposite of you. All of my boyfriends from High school thru age 24 were black. At age 25, I dated very seriously a white guy (he was so hot, oh my god!). Anyway, we considered marriage but it didn't work out. Soon after, I dabbled into providing for the first time and liked it! The rest is history.

I do think there aren't very many men that participate in this hobby, and so there aren't many black men in the hobby. Also, the black men that do participate may be similar to RodTidwell in that they mostly hobby interracially.
Black men TEND to like big asses and curves.

Prior to hobbying I too have had a long life full of interracial sex and relationships. It is not and never has been out of the norm for me or uncomfortable in any way.
I was shocked actually (and saddened) by the amount of racial generalization that goes on in the hobby, mostly on the providers' side (well, that is really the only side I hear about regarding choosiness). Of course I totally understand and support a providers' right to determine who she does and does not see, but I really don't think that blanket generalizations about racial groups can possibly be a very sensitive or effective measure to protect one's safety. I think that is a defense many mount, but truthfully I have heard providers discuss their experiences with clients and reasons for choosiness and a lot of it is just simply astounding racism.* It makes me cringe and saddens me when someone contacts me asking if I am open to seeing Black men, because they are well aware that most will automatically disqualify them. I just don't understand why you would do that if you have a proper screening system in place. Ah, well.
One Vietnamese client of mine recently explained to me that in his experience, many (east/southeast) Asian providers who work in massage parlors and so on do not feel comfortable seeing Asian clients, and that it is often out of fear that they will become known in a relatively small community and the implications would be far too great for them. So sometimes there are real meaningful back stories.
Anyway, I have and always will be totally equal opportunity and make decisions about who I see based on their screening and my experiences with them after a first meeting. Humans are amazingly diverse in bodies, desires, expressions, and styles, and my favorite thing about this hobby is being witness to the uniqueness of so many lovely people. It's amazing really!

Most of my clients are white followed closely by Indian. Asian is a distant third. I get very few Black or Hispanic customers.
So seeing a different variety of woman in this hobby.

I do find it amazing however that here in the year 2015 people are still in a place where seeing a black/white/Asian/Latino person is a unique experience to them.
I do get the idea of preferences, and I really get the concept of hiding downright racist feelings behind the façade of "preferences" but what I do find amazing is that so many people have not had any interracial relationships before entering the hobby, and I am flabbergasted that anyone in the hobby hasn't had a single interracial experience. That's just mind boggling to me.

At least they did for me. Those first sexual encounters sear themselves onto your being. I sometimes feel helpless to their fury. One of my first experiences happened in a land far away, with a girl from a different race. Another early rendezvous took place in a different continent, with yet another race. Of course I had experiences with my own race too. Needless to say, those early, out of country experiences left me with an taste for the exotic. Therefore, I am open to any race, and have had atfs in many. Being a world traveler, I love learning about other cultures. One of the best parts about being a world hobbyist is learning the sexuality of those cultures. And trust me, just like with every woman of the world, they're all different.

I am a blue eyed white guy and have been with quite a few providers of various racial ethnicities. Black, Latina, Asian, White, mixes of any and all of the above. The only ethnicity/race have not seen, yet, is Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi (South Asian I guess you'd say? Please forgive my ignorance)

...I get approached by far more non-black and non-hispanic men in the hobby and outside of the hobby I find myself approached by far more black and latino/hispanic men than anyone else.

The thing is you seem to describe interaccial as only between Black and White, and honestly the concept of Race is a social construct. Geographical ancestry however has been shown to have a biological influence on our physiology and evolution as humans. Still to me neither of those things matter honestly the best experiences I have are just from women who are not half bad looking and are comfortable to be around.
With only one exception, all the ladies I've seen in the hobby have been black or of mixed race. Something about you lovely ladies moves me in a way no other ethnicity of women do. A really good friend of mine was half black, only you really couldn't see the white in him as is the case with many mixed race kids.
