Although it is obvious you are not new around here, your reply that even GaG could learn something from from Rod struck a nerve, if you will. You see, according to a lot of people, Rod is the board's piñata which simply means that the moment Rod posts something, he is criticized or ridiculed for one reason or another.
Now, I will not pass judgment on whether the ridicule and criticism is always warranted, that is neither here nor there, at least insofar as this post is concerned, but I will say that all of this attention has made Rod the single most successful poster on the board, if by 'successful' we mean having the ability to generate replies and create shit-storms. Now, here is what is really paradoxical, one of the top indictments of Rod is that he is posting to get attention, and yet, what do his detractors do? Well, they give him attention by the truckload which is what struck me about your comment, because really, who is playing whom here?
As much as Tiddlywinks loves attention, which he does get, he craves acceptance even more, and that is something due to his own lameness, he rarely gets.
If you hadn't noticed, he went on his own little world tour today, spamming board after board with "please look at me, and please like me" OP's on a bunch of different boards where I guess he is hoping for a fresh start. The problem is, wherever he goes, He is right there too, and even short term acceptance quickly turns to disdain, without any of us ever lifting a finger, just watch and see.
None of us "board boys" have ever tried to get rid of our little turdster, he is the source of endless amusement. I don't like him, respect him, or care even the slightest about his opinion on a single subject, but I certainly don't want him tossed off the board, although on the none too rare times when admin gives him a "time out" there is always another piñata ready, willing and able to take his place. It's always been that way around here, and I always will be.
