So I have been celebrating this holiday for a couple of years now, and am surprised that this isn't a hot topic on this site.

By way of background, they say that Valentine's Day is a day where women get the attention they so richly deserve, and men give expensive flowers, boxes of candy and lingerie to their special ladies and take them out to a special Valentine's dinner.

Well, someone figured that as nice an event as this is, maybe it would be nice to have another special day where the man is the focus of the attention, and Steak and BJ day was born!

It's a real thing- in fact there are several "official" sites to explain and promote it- just do a search. I have celebrated it by cooking a steak at home for me and a special someone, and I have gone out for dinner with a a lady and had steak there. Of course, when the steak is eaten, before or after the BJ, is something I always work out ahead of time.

Is anyone else celebrating this special day?

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays- much better than Groundhog Day.
