I've noticed on some websites that there is a private section where you have to be given access via a login or a password. But what's the point of having revealing photos in a private gallery for certain friends when they can see you in person instead? They have already seen you naked.. If anything, it might be a turn off for clients knowing that your private photos are available to other people.
I have sent private photos to certain clients in the past. The same picture to several different clients and each of them thinking that they are the only one to receive it. That approach does wonders because it makes the client feel special..
And "private" doesn't always mean racier. I'd say about 15-20% of the guys who request access are actually allowed in my private gallery.
But that's just me.

Unless you are selling the pictures, what's the point? As a guy who dabbles in the hobby once a month or so (give or take) I use TER, P411 and peruse websites of the gals I see on here. If the gallery isn't readily accessible, or shows absolutely nothing but a fully clothed (often dark colored and baggy clothes hiding the "goods" I move on. I'm not saying I need to see faces (those could be private shots) nor am I saying I need to see you jam out with your clam out (again, those could be fodder for private) but since I am using the site to see if I am interested in you sexually, I'd appreciate at least two angles of tit shots at least one or two of ass at different angles (standing and or laying down, etc.) And the biggest one for me, a shot showing your gut. I think its a great marketing tool. How many times have any of us guys wanted to see the racier photos? All the time, we're visual creatures. I personally dont feel the need to see them. And this is no offense to any of the ladies, but I can find naked pictures of women anywhere, anytime for nothing. Also alot of ladies have twitter, or tumblr or blogs packed full of naughty stuff. Even if I had one and screened like crazy for access to it, you can't really control what someone is going to do with private images once they have access to them. Even if you disable right-clicking, a simple screenshot would be all it takes to have your vagina or face all over the internet.
The only way I could MAYBE be talked into doing it would be if it was reserved for regulars only. Even then, the risk outweighs the reward if you ask me.
When I'm looking and I come across this, and all her pics are private, I'll usually just move on. It is too much time and trouble to go through for something I "might" be interested in booking. I'm sure everyone has seen a site that says "call or email us for our rock-bottom price". Well, not many people call or email. If I'm at a site to buy something, and I have to register, I move on to another site. The sites that do best are those that have single-page checkout.
This all applies to providers, too. The private photo gallery is going to turn away a lot of potential customers. If I get to a site and don't find rates, I don't stick around. I'm not going to guess or wait until I try to book to find out the cost.
I would think that the provider sites that are most effective, all other things being equal, are those that show as much of the provider as possible (body, as much face as possible, views from all angle), which have prices clearly outlined, and have a reservation form with as little information as possible required, and email that's replied to promptly. Videos, VIP fluff pages, gift suggestions? Meh.
I have ZERO interest, less than zero if that is possible in any "private galleries" and I am sure I speak for many when I say that anything that makes it more difficult to either make my decision to book, or to book itself, is likely to send me on my way to the next lady on my list.

I think that the gents whom you have met would be so delighted by you giving them a place where they could access fond memories of your time together. You would need to make sure that it is protected and safe somehow if showing face of course, but in general its a really lovely thing to offer.
Private galleries are fine, but before you invest in one you might want to look closer at the images you have on your website now. Personally, I like to see enough facial images (even if partially cropped/covered) to know if the lady is attractive. (I like pretty ladies!) Secondly, I also adore nice breasts/nipples... so a photo or 2 of different views (with or without your face shown) is also essential. Next important are legs/butt shown, and again, a facial shot is not important with that. Once a lady has these in either a public (preferable) gallery or a private gallery, beyond that I am not too concerned. Perhaps a private gallery might be a nice perk to encourage returning clients?
