I've enrolled in a group therapy class that slowly but surely is leading me into the 21st century, and using the new TER on my iPhone is part of that.
I've been at this for a couple years now, and have found certain hobby pre-meeting moments still give me a little high each time they happen. The first is after I've decided to contact a lady and have written my message to her, the moment I hit the send button I get a little rush - as suddenly it's transitioned from a lustful fantasy to a real concrete step to make that fantasy actually come true.
Okay, that one isn't exactly Pavlonian per se, but this one is...
I absolutely love that damn little Trac Phone jingle when I turn my phone on!
I mostly only turn this phone on on the day of my appointment - and when I hear that little 6-or-so note jingle it means one thing: SEX. I know if I was anywhere and heard that I would have the same reaction. Kinda funny how with all the great song-writers and talented musicians in the world, that no song I've ever heard has quite the same effect on me as that dopey little 6-noter brought to me by the "talented" folks at Trac Phone, lol. But, "Holy shit I'm really going to have sex with a gorgeous woman today" is a pretty great meaning to have associated with a "song."
Anyone else have similar pre-appointment moments that you react to - perhaps all the way up to the moment you walk into the room?
This could be for hobbyists or ladies.
(For some ladies I suppose it could be the opposite of excitement, more like "O fuck, this is really going to happen, time to suck it up and put on a smile" lol)
And, I suppose these types of reactions would fade over time for folks who hobby with grest frequency. Or do they?
Interested to hear if others have similar "moments."
Which invariably is something to the effect of, "Oh Rokk, I'd LOVE to meet you! I think we'll have a great time together!"
Yeah. That really gets me excited. It's like getting a response back to your listing on a civvie dating site, except you already know how your first date is gonna go.
My Pavlovian response kicks in when I know I'm having a meeting with large office equipment. It's a nice way of whetting my sexual appetite. The same happens during dictation.

Also being since you're not your average Administrative Assistant how important is physicality combined with cerebral copulatory experience when going over an application?
At the top of my site I note that if it's mentioned there, I won't discuss it in communications. You can read for yourself what information I request for screening. Just so I'm clear about your second question, is cerebral a synonym for "mind" or "skull" ?

The moment where I verify a gent after his initial inquiry and then he makes a deposit towards our date brings about a rush of excitement. Now we have gone from an initial email to actually setting up a date and the next step is getting to hear his voice on the phone. Its exciting to know that someone special out there is eager to meet me and to invest in our meeting. Plus, being single it means I'll get to have some "fun" soon and that brings on a delicious pavlovian chemical reaction for me.

I get a rush off of the money. Once I have part of it, I feel good.
Indeed-I feel good because then the fun part starts. I get to plan my outfit, get my hair done, book my travel and basically start dreaming about the encounter with a special friend. You are right on-when the money comes the fun begins

iv'e heard that from many ladies. the thrill of making money but not so they can buy shoes rather, getting closer to their goal.
turn-on for many of us. That's how I discovered I belonged in this little world. One night, I sat next to an older man (definitely NOT my physical type at all back then) in a club who kept giving me money and by the end of the night, I wanted to jump him like you wouldn't believe! It's a powerful aphrodisiac.
So when I get the request, my juices start flowing. I totally understand Sitara's sentiment.

I don't get how and why someone would get all excited about a P4P arrangement. I don't get excited for civilian date because no one knows where it is going to go. Had more luck when not trying hard than when tried hard and learned my lesson after first few times. Now, I am relaxed and let the chips fall wherever it may.
There is a level of excitement once a date is booked nothing crazy. About 10 minutes before I arrive, my heart races for a minute or two. A bit of fight or flight? By the time, I'm walking in I'm completely calm again. I knock on the door and smile. I don't really have any expectations. Its like an ice cream cone, I picked a new flavor and I'm about to find out just now good it is. I've been lucky so far, I haven't picked a bad flavor yet. Some I wouldn't order again. Some I would.

I only use the text it seems for hobby related stuff.

It's too big already the way I feel about it.
I still use a Razor phone sometimes, but it's getting harder to find the blades for it in the store.
If you start surfing TER on your phobe you'll have to make the switch.

I get all nervous and excited when meeting someone new and the anticipation is palatable. From the first email to the moment our eyes and lips meet, I can just imagine how wonderful it will be. In the days leading up to our meeting, I am thinking of this mystery man as I prepare for our date. As I get my nails painted, I wonder if he will appreciate the color I chose, as I pick out my outfit and lingerie I imagine his delight in unwrapping me.
I've been told high expectations often lead to disappointment, but in this line of work I have yet to be disappointed. In fact, most, if not all, have somehow exceeded my expectations and we always seem to have a mind-blowing time.
Now, with my established friends, it's different. I still get excited to see them, but without all the nerves and mystery. I've already met them and I know I enjoy being with them, so I am just flat out excited to be able to see them again! I think even more excited to see my old friends, but still always thrilled to make new ones
If there's an email on it, then it's from someone whom I've met before, or will meet soon. Either way the brain associates that sound with an amazing time.
When a woman says yes to a meeting, I can't help but smile. From that point on it's a good day. Probably look like Smilin' Bob from the Enzyte commercials!
When she closes the door and wraps her arms around me, her warm body pressed to mine, a tender kiss hello, and her scent fills the air -- adrenaline and endorphins rush into the system. Cue the angel symphony, and give me a moment. She just rocked my world simply by being there as herself. Hubba hubba
in the first year, yes. it would be when getting the text for room number but that has since faded.
Now, it's the first few minutes after she opens the door. the greeting is everything.
If she doesnt' smile it's a major turn off.
