you might try taking a water taxi over to Coronado for drinks/dinner. super view of the SD skyline and the trip on a small boat thru the harbor is fun. not expen$ive either.

Hi all...

I'll be in town next week, looking for things to do in the evening. Suggestions welcome. Feel free to PM.

There are short harbor tours and dinner excursions.
Seaport Village is right next to the Hyatt Regency and the Marriott Hotels downtown.  There are a lot of shops and restaurants there.
Seaworld is pretty close and great entertainment.
Balboa Park is where the famous San Diego Zoo is and all of our nice museums.

Oh, and Old Town is popular, but I prefer the other things I mentioned.

If you're downtown, you can just go walk up and down fourth and fifth Avenues.  There are always people pouring out of all of the clubs and restaurants even during the week.  I'm sure concierge can recommend specific places to go.
