Well after much thought, I've decided to host another M and G in LA.
The timeframe is March 2 from 7-11 or 12. It will be held in Venice at the same venue as the last one was held.
As always screening should be expected.
For guys, I will need at least 2 lady references or reviews from reputable and active ladies (i.e, not retired for 3-4 years) that will provide a reference for you. If I know you, that will suffice. If you attended my last party, please let me know and I will confirm that. Please supply your TER handle.
For ladies, I will need at least 2 reviews or a reference from a reputable gent or lady. A website is also preferable. Please provide your name and ur website (if you have one).
If you are not sure that you will have the info that I need, you may still request an invite. I will let you know.

As I requested last party, all gents attending must donate $40 to help with the buy out of the venue, valet parking, and karoake. No exceptions. It will be collected at the door.
All confirmed attendees will be on a list. Do not try and show up unless you have an official invite that will be sent out a few days prior to the party.
The last party in October had 150 in attendance including 62 ladies. Lets try and beat that this time!

You say 150 attended and 62 were ladies so that means 88 were paying guys! 88 x $40 = $3520 Now I see where you get your provider money! Yes I know you have to pay for the venue, valet, DJ and karaoke but based on your own words the Venue was real happy with the group. Which means the money was being spent on drinks and food. There is no doubt you made a nice profit! Now don't get me wrong you do a lot of work putting these events on but I just wish you would keep it real and tell the truth that you really do keep the extra money!
I could do some pretty nice hobbying for what I've paid out of pocket for mine through the years.
Accusations like this are sure a nice way to get people sour on throwing them, though.

From what I have heard your Meet & Greets are held at private residences where you have to pay for everything! I have also heard that your group goes out of pocket for these things! The house, the food, the drinks and even bands sometimes! Bond007's are held at Restaurants or Night Clubs where the establishment charges for the food and the drinks and he still charges the guys to get in! I could go on and on regarding the differences of the two but I will stop here!
They haven't wanted a cover charge.
Had they, we'd have done EXACTLY what Bond has done.
The LA, LV group that host socials are a pretty great group. Have fun at a social party. Meet people. See who you click with, enjoy the banter.

And quite frankly, I never felt the need to justify the planning and the expense involved. So now you know. Are you happy now?

Any type of rental, requires a deposite. Now since the gents are not going to leave a deposite when inquiring about an invite, who would you think took care of it A! B- obvioulsy, Bond is going out of his way to make sure this even goes smoothly, so why would you make such an ordeal over this? Be greatful, not hateful!

Your post is offensive and antagonistic. You’re that irritating little pest we’ve all encountered at one point or another who compulsively tries to elevate himself by stepping on others.
You’ll note that no one else steps up to facilitate these meeting in Los Angeles. Yet you wish to slander the integrity of the one who does. Not only is your methodology tasteless, but it is cowardly masked in an alias. If you had a legitimate bone of contention which you could validate with reasonable argument, you'd have the testicles to do it with your actual screen name.
The very essence of your post reflects emotional immaturity and vile pettiness. But there is a simple solution to your frustrations. If you feel that Bond's handling of a meet and greet is inappropriate or underhanded... don't bother attending. That way he won't "profit" from your $40 and it will be of no concern to you. The rest of us will happily contribute our money for the opportunity such a gathering presents and undoubtedly will not miss your presence in the least.

for the pocket change it costs for one to attend the m&g, you can get a stone cold lock on a lady and anticipate a great session.
to plan, find the venue, spend money out of pocket and then ask for help in the form of a door fee there is always one individual who can't help but rain on the parade and cast negativity on the person doing the organizing.
You do your thing Bond and ignore the nay sayer. In all these threads I did not see one other person who wanted to know what happened to the door fees not do most of us care.
B3, Gonzo, Tasha and all the others who put these gigs on work hard to make them safe and a success. I for one really get tired of there always being one person who wants to try and cast doubt on a individual's hard work in planning and implementing of a M & G.

Bond's M&G's are a Class Act all the way. Great venues, safe and secure, good food & drinks, beautiful women who actually show up and mingle.
In short, he throws the best bash in town. Heck, I couldn't care less if he did pocket any extra cash for his trouble (but I'm sure he doesn't).

Let the market rule. If the door fee is worth it to the attendees and the organizer makes a profit, who has been hurt? As Bond wrote, it's no one else's business whether it's profitable.

at $60.00, it was a bargain. I haven't had so much fun in a long time! Being in a private, rented home, we were commenting on the cleanup that was needed after, and how no one wanted to be part of that!
Yep, pay $60 bucks, have a hell of a great time, eat so much I didn't have to eat another meal the next day AND not have to worry about the mess? Hey, guys, it was cheap at twice the price! If where was any money left over, go enjoy yourself! You deserve it!
Ive never been to a meet and greet but by the accusations of some of these people i would just ignore them ,It sounds like a lot of work you do and you should make some money on it with all the work you do to get everyone together ,You can never please everyone .keep up the good work BOND
