Hello Ladies and Gents,

Would someone from the Merriam-Webster Department of TER (or anyone from the general masses) be so kind as to provide an exact definition regarding what characterizes a "low-volume provider?"

Is this "low-volume" status based on a daily rate of activity? A weekly log? A year-long tabulation?

Just curious....

We need to get one thing straight to begin with. Low Volume is a cute marketing term that doesn't have to be strictly defined of truthful in any ethical sense of the word. Just like every coffeehouse has the right to advertise that they serve "the best coffee on Earth," a provider's ad has carte blanche to call herself low volume if she wants to.

There REALLY ARE women who have other careers or commitments and make themselves available for a few appointments because the money is good. That's very rare nowadays, I suspect, because the investment involved with ads, incall plants, wardrobe, etc. almost demand a bunch of fares to pay the lease, so to to speak.

The other day there was a thread about "seeking special arrangements" and maybe there still are some women out there who agree to spend time with select gentlemen on Mondays and Tuesdays, or whenever their dark nights are with the profession they are truly passionate about.

Otherwise, one or two clients a day seems pretty low-volume by today's standards.

It's a marketing term used by many.  Similar to when P&G uses the term "new and improved" on a relaunch of a product. When I start seeing those and other marketing terms on a providers web site I usually move on.

a few times a month with select gentlemen. You don't meet with everyone who contacts you. I think everyone will have their own definition of just what low volume means to them and just what works for them. I suspect it's far too wide open to mean just one thing.

xx kisses

then she's "low volume". She could be seeing three guys a day or three guys a month, and be low volume.

If it gets to the point where she's rescheduling her 2 o'clock to 5 o'clock to fit in a guy who just called last minute to book for two hours, then she's high volume. In other words, if her volume reaches a point where it inconveniences or pisses off customers, that's high volume.

Been there, done that, got the ti-shirt, and I'm still a newbie. ;)

My wife is a very low-volume provider!

A provider who sees 2 clients a month is low volume compared to one who sees 2 clients a week. One who sees two clients a week is low volume compared to one who sees 1 a day. A provider who sees 1 a day is low volume compared to one who sees 3 a day, and one who sees 3 a day is low volume compared to one who sees 6 a day. What about one who sees 5 in one day and none for the rest of the month?

It doesn't matter as long as she has time to clean up between them and gives all of them her full attention and energy. If the current client is not passing the previous client in the hall way, then who cares.

I guess a door like this at her incall would be considered high volume.

that the term 'low volume' is a great advertising tool, nothing more. It doesn't mean anything. How on earth could I ever know how many guys a lady sees in any given period of time? It's for all us gents who don't like to think about our atfs seeing lots of other guys, or even one other guy for that matter. It's to help keep the fantasy alive. Personally, I don't buy into any of those lines used by the ladies. In fact, I love to hear stories about her other guys. I've heard some doozies over the years.
