Got them all correct...

...but I admit, some of the ones I got right were educated guesses.  I was familiar enough with all the positions, just didn't know the names in some cases....never got around to reading the Kama Sutra, too busy living it. :)

I got some inspiration on a previous game post: A Christmas Eve brain teaser from Conan the Grammarian, which I liked, although I got some flack for it in pointing out an inconsistency—but with that aside—I thought the Name That Sex Position game would be a fun post.

It’s a multiple choice game and provides a silhouette picture of the position. After you pick your answer, it tells you if it’s correct or incorrect. For every correct answer, it gives a brief explanation and any other name the position is called, along with a degree of difficulty.

I thought it would be very easy, but I got 7 out of 10 or 70%. I imagine the aficionados will have no problem naming them all correctly.

Also, maybe some of you have done some to all these positions. It would be interesting to hear which ones you like or don’t like, or if you haven’t done them, which ones you’d like to try

But he admits to guessing at a few.  Also, they didn't give the correct name for Reverse Cowgirl and there was no Asian Cowgirl listed.  And where was Standing Dog and Lazy Dog , not to mention Spider Monkey?  This test was deeply flawed

..according to the rules of the English language. It’s another grammar test.  At the end of the test it will tell you which one’s you got right

And definitely planning to try one of them on my upcoming date :-)

Maybe I should stop making up my own words. Does anyone else have trouble distinguishing silhouettes from Rorschach ink blots?

Reverse cowgirl comes up as an alternative name in answer and definition when rodeo is selected. (Then, could Rodeo be to what Cowgirl is in a different part of the country, like what a Hoagie is in the south to what a Grinder is the northeast? Lol!)

You mean a hero...

Several had more common names than the one they used for it. I personally prefer my own "sex position game" that i sometimes play with my ATF. I have a digital copy of the little black book of sexual positions and I will ask her to pick a random page number. We go to that page and whatever position is described we try it out.

I like the deep stick the best... some are outside my athletic abilities...

Honestly, there's a few that I got lucky on. Some of those names I've never heard of like Deep Stick. I like that one though. I think that there were only two that I haven't tried.

pointed ot that there is no such thing as standard terms.  He considered it a sport unto itself, usually by non-participating persons.  Every source invents their own terms...  JoS vs Cosmo vs KarmoSutra.
BTW, I got 80%.

…there has to be some sort of standard in the English language in order to communicate. Although the English language is invented (like all other languages), compared to some of the other languages, I believe the American English language is more accepting of new terms and slang to be integrated into it.
