I understand that there are many times a provider is not really "turned on" during the session. Here's my question...

Do providers do something to prepare themselves for a session? Down there? I am one who likes the slow start GFE type thing with some kissing and light foreplay before moving on to the main even. I notice that almost always when I get down to the kitty she is almost always already wet. Which means either I am doing something right :-) or they are prepping?

I am an early guy so I assume I am usually their first appointment. So do ladies have a pre appointment routine to make sure they are turned on for the appointment? Inquiring minds want to know :-)

Lube has an artificial taste and any guy who went down in her would know that's not real wetness.

Unless you're talking about a non-GFE/high volume place where there's no oral, kissing, or foreplay and you've just got to "stick it in" I doubt that pre-lubing takes place much with regular escorts.

For instance, astroglide doesn't leave much of a taste. KY, on the other hand, is horrible.

I know this from my agency days. I not only had to lube up before the appt, I had to lube up DURING. Volume was very high, and the added friction of condoms made it a necessity. As an independent, I haven't had to use it at all, thank goodness.

What you described was physical(how your body responded), not psychological(how your brain responded) Not that the two can be mutually exclusive,  given your brain controls your reproductive organs.    

I would still put your experience in the physical category,  I believe psychological sexual attraction is much more of a voluntary reaction than a physical one.  If that is not true, how could any one ever decline a physical sexual transaction with another individual.
