Thanks, love!  PM coming at you :)

Greetings San Diego friends!

I'm thinking about planning a trip down South soon, debating on places to stay!  Is the downtown/Gaslamp/Convention Center area terribly inconvenient (parking and "visibility-wise")?  Torn between a hotel in the "heart of it all" or perhaps an AirBnb apartment on the outskirts?  Just trying to gauge the hobby climate down South as I'm not terribly familiar with the city (especially from a hobby perspective)!

Thank you very kindly for your input!

by del mar...but with your price range maybe downtown?

Thanks for the suggestion, I honestly never would have thought of Del Mar on my own with such limited knowledge of the area.  Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Maybe it reflects my bias as someone who lives near the coast, but the location I recommend are:
Del Mar/Carmel Valley
La Jolla/UTC
and downtown/Gaslamp

They all have upscale hotels and nearby freeway access, so they’re easy to get to. They are touristy enough so that people come and go without notice, but not so touristy that they're crowded with people.

Avoid Mission Valley. Although it has lots of nice apartments that serve as incall locations, it also has lots of cheap motels that attract LE attention. If you’re new in town, you won't know which parts of MV are okay.

I’d be wary of AirBnB. You don’t know who you’re renting from (do their neighbors have a grudge against them?) and you don’t know who rented the place before you (did they have a wild party?). So you have no idea what situation you might be getting into

I had a great little condo from AirBnB once, only problem was, the owners were staying with friends two doors away while I was in their place.  Not a good option for hobbying, neither as provider nor hobbyist.

Thank you so much for your suggestions!  I never would have thought to consider Del Mar…and that's so true about AirBnb…I've never actually used it before, I just always like to consider trying something new.  I hope to be able to meet some of you very soon!

Affectionately,
xoxo

Two excellent hotels for access, parking and location (for you too) are on Mission Bay. PM me for specific names.

Thanks, love!  PM coming at you :)

I visited a provider in this area and by far was the best incall I've been to. Very private. I almost guarantee we are talking about the same hotel.
