Ratio of old business to new business

Dear Melissa:
Maybe another reason is that she is getting more old business than new business.  Thus there is less of an incentive for her clients to write reviews.  Thus what one could deduct is that she is active but already has a steady and active client base. Also another question is where does she work and is there a strong population density where she works? If the population density is not strong, then the reviews won't be as frequent. However if the population density is strong then the review will be much more frequent.  Finally also ask how long has she been in the business with a strong internet presence. If someone has been in the business for a long time in consideration to where she lives, then the reviews tend to die down.  However if she is new then she is also fresh which means more clients will tend to give her ink which in turn will give her more business.

Should one be concerned if a provider hasn't had a review in over a year? Just wondering if this is something to be considered when looking to set up a meet for the first time.

A lot of men don't write reviews so she may have been seeing a lot of great guys, giving a lot of great service, yet not getting the reviews.  I won't pressure guys into writing them and if they say they will then don't, I don't feel comfortable reminding them.

The other reason could be a hiatus.  I was bought out for a year and some girls go into a semi-retired state for personal reasons such as trying a new civie relationship, taking care of family members, or they have reached a comfortable financial level and want to try something else.

So, I wouldn't be concerned.  But, if you do see a girl that has reviews that are few in number or hasn't had one in a while, unless she has a "no review policy" take the time and write one for her.

I wish more guys I have seen would write one for me.

The amount of reviews a lady has doesn't indicate her presence, lack there of. Frankly, I would be more concerned if she didn't have an up to date website or lack of advertisements elsewhere. So, if she is posting an ad here on TER or let's say logged in on p411 recently (you can get that information from her profile),  I think its safe to assume she is around. A lady doesn't need reviews posted every month to go about her business -- though I understand where your questioning comes from. Maybe one of the gents here can give some insight.

I agree with Adriana. Reviews don't mean as much as members of review boards think. While it feels like the whole world is on TER sometimes, the truth is that many hobbyists are not.  Many ladies are not, or are reviewed infrequently to never.  For a long time I never allowed reviews and did just fine.

Check her ads & it they are currant.  I'd also PM the last couple of reviewers because they might know more.

I get new clients all the time, and even some oldies that still come around. So no lack of business. I stay active on TER because I choose not to advertise in my area. For me it's going on two years, I have one promised to me though, LOL, but he already told me it's a hassle to write. If I was that horrible of a provider, I am sure someone would have said something by now... LOL!

If you are concerned ask her. If you are in a position to update her profile and put out a new review after your visit, then do it. But never assume the worst, you may miss out on one of the best hobbying experiences.

...... some ladies do take breaks for any reason good or bad and well some typically see more regular faces than new. I've seen quite a bit of new people who simply don't review. I haven't had a new one in a bit and if I never got another one I couldn't really care less. BUT if an old friend decides to update or a new one decides to review that'd be cool.

When I first started I asked people not to review me. I will ask occasionally now, but most of my clients aren't on TER and aren't really eager to join.
