1) How do they find the girls (or do the girls find them)
2) What is the interview process like? :-)

Sounds like a fantastic job. I mean, how can you send someone out to represent your brand without doing a bit of quality control checking ?!?

What you describe is more "pimp like" than behavior of a legit agency.

Just in case your query is legit, many agencies send their "new hires" to a trusted regular, and base future employment on the feedback they get. Said regular paying for the privilege of course.

FWIW, I've been "that guy" before. It is fun getting to see all the new girls, but you do run the risk of seeing a few women who really aren't cut out to be in this business.

Perhaps, but FWIW I have had outstanding customer service from agencies run by women. Whether or not they were lesbian or bi and "sampled the goods" is something that will stay in my fantasies, I suppose. Honestly I'd rather not find out for real one way or another.

"Sampling the merchandise" especially for free has always been considered "pimpish" at best.

My point about "Non lesbian, non bi" women owning agencies was to show how "sampling the merchandise" is hardly necessary to hire a girl/woman for this kind of work.

I guess sometimes it surprises me just how little so many people, especially people involved in this business, actually know about how it really functions. I guess maybe I have been around it for so long I just take this knowledge for granted

..Not to mention a bit predatory. That is something girls would NOT look for and choose when searching for a reputable agency to work with.

...the location meet and interview the potential employee too. This agency had more than one in call location.  The potential employees contacted the agency to initiate employment or were sometimes recommended to the agency by clients.

If you look at the agency web site you notice an employment section with info for ladies looking to work.

Do they want women who show up when needed? Do they require certain limits on the menu? Certain services guaranteed? Do they give drug tests? Do they observe how the girl gets along with the rest of the stable? How important is wardrobe, and do they ask the women to show up in what they'd wear to an outcall?

I don't really fantasize about these questions, but I'm sometimes curious about how the selection process works.

Also, I wonder if an agency limits how many ladies they'll represent. It seems, thinking about it with no empirical reference, that representing too many ladies would be a very real disadvantage to an agency, and maybe as much or more of a detriment as having too few available.

Of course they want women who are timely and prompt...otherwise clients will complain. They cannot really require a lady to do anything, as that is admitting to being a party to an illegal act, but I have come across some that are actually brazen enough to have "requirements". No, services cannot be "guaranteed", as again, the whole illegal services thing. No, they do not give drug tests. As far as getting along "with the rest of the stable"...most ladies never meet the other ladies when working for a service...sometimes, but not very often. They do not request the ladies to show up in anything particular...but it is just like any other job...you dress for the environment you are being interviewed for...if you can't figure that out, then you're probably not fit for the job.

When agencies are hiring, they will place "now hiring" ads, or many times, ladies will just e-mail services they are interested in, asking if they are hiring, and it goes from there. When I use to go the agency route, I found the female-run one's to be much more professional, and the "interview" process was usually just asking if you've done this before, can you travel, to send recent pics, etc. The male-run or fake female-run (when there's really a man behind the picture), in my personal experience, like to try every time to pull the, "I have to test the merchandise, so I can let me clients know exactly what to expect"....naturally, this situations ended quite quickly, lol.  

The reason so many services have such a high turnover rate, is the agency cannot ask specifics of what the lady will/will not do, as that is admitting to allowing illegal services. They will check past reviews if the lady has them, otherwise, it's kind of a crap shoot....and if she doesn't work out (complaints from clients, always running late, poor hygiene, not paying the agency their cut), then she is inevitably fired.

I know a female agency owner in London, and also a lady who long ago worked with her and for her.  (And likes her greatly, BTW.)  Anyway, both told me at different times that the agency had a long-time client (and friend) who was typically the first client to meet with every new girl -- it was presented as just a typical 1st-time date.  If anything problematic came up, he told the agency owner and it was addressed privately.  Otherwise, he would pay the normal rate and the new girl would take her normal cut.  (Though it seemed pretty likely to me that the lucky client typically got a discount on the back-end without the new girls even knowing.  Interestingly, they also used this method to determine if raising the girl's rate was appropriate.)
