Against.

Taxes yes, everyone should be robbed by the government not just me ;)

We really need to get focused on what real trafficking is, people who are unwillingly forced to do labor or sex acts for another (slavery by another word).  Holding all prostitutes as responsible for trafficking is like holding all photographers (no matter what they photograph) responsible for child porn.  One thing is not the other.

I really don't like that it seems that we have accepted that any abuse of prostitutes is ok as long as it's supposedly done to fix human trafficking.  Those guys are bastards, nail them to the wall.  It'd be a lot easier to find witnesses if the witnesses didn't have to incriminate themselves to do so.

Hiring police/inspectors to arrest or manage prostitutes when instead we could use the money for things like clearing up the backlog of rape kits shouldn't be done.   Increasing that management is the wrong direction.

Sorry for the rant,

Since voters are more open minded with the passing of laws to make recreational marijuana legal, when is our hobby going to follow suit?

I'm afraid not for a long while.  In fact all the negative politics surrounding sex trafficking and underage sex make it very unlikely.  Certain European countries and Canada are more open but I don't see us following suit.  The best we can hope for is neglect of enforcement if it doesn't get too out in the open.  The stories about the banks, under pressure from the feds, cracking down on providers' bank accounts is very disturbing.  In some ways there may be more extra legal harassment and suppression coming. Bad, bad, bad.
