Re:A Despicable Act...

It saddens me greatly that she would use a children's charity as a front to rip people off. :(

During the Christmas holiday, a South Florida provider organized a fundraising charity to donate money to the MAKE A WISH foundation. This organization works with needy children and as such, everyone wanted to help out and she was able to collect close to $4,000 in cash!

Close to 3 weeks have passed and every attempt to find out that the money was donated turned into the provider coming up with "I had a cold" and "computer crashed" excuses. When she noticed that the pressure was building, she produced a FAKE receipt (a cheap yellow note bought at Office Depot written herself). Clearly this didn't come from the MAKE A WISH foundation and now this provider has disappeared with the money and not answering anyone.

The South Florida community is appalled by this despicable act and will be boycotting this lady completely and hope that everyone joins us to show that this behavior will NOT be rewarded!

If this is true, she must have been be pretty damn bad off to live with her conscience after stealing money meant for charity...but it was  just Johns, right?

As Fiona Apple said, "It's a sad, sad world, when a girl will break a boy, just because she can".

She is a sociopath, this was well thought out and down right evil! These kind of people have ice in their veins.

Please gentlemen, Boycott this witch, spread the word. Let's see how long she can live on the money she stole.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer.

That said, it seems obvious to me this is a clear violation of
Florida Title XXXIII, Chapter 496.415(3), (4), (15), and (16). See http://www.flsenate.gov/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=Ch0496/SEC415.HTM&Title=->2003->Ch0496->Section%20415

Florida law classifies these misdeeds as felonies of the third degree, punishable by imprisonment of up to 5 years and/or a fine of up to $5,000.

At the very least, this provider should be banned from TER.

South Florida is looking how to resolve this DELICATE matter and we could use the help how to best resolve this.

A lot of concerns by fellow providers & hobbyists...

and sensitive matter, involving great thought before taking steps. What about consulting with hobbying attorneys - there are certainly plenty out there!? I'm sure you have. Have you also posted some real details on the Legal board?

I don't know what to suggest..

I believe this is a catch 22 and just consider that you helped a needy or greedy person.  Yes, I would like to prosecute, but I do not believe that the event is legal in FL.  It is only legal in NV.  I have looked at similar situations and said:  How much money am I willing to give away without having a tax deduction.  I did it twice last year in my hobby.  I do believe that we should be able to prevent the person from being a member of TER or not post anything.

I donate money all through the year~ That is part of my "good deed" - you know, so I can earn my wings in Heaven.

What I don't understand is this: Most Escorts make the best salary than any other profession in the world, why do they need to steal???

How do you boycot if you don't know who you are talking about. Is that her pic at the end of the message or yours? Don't see how she could be identified by that one altered pic anyway. How about a link to a site or reveiws. Or some way to identify this person, especially once she has relocated with a new alias.

Here is a link to her website.

There is a name at the bottom of the picture if you look. One can take that name, enter it into a search here, on Google, or about anywhere else and see who it is.

I agree with almost all of the above posts.

I think the best course of action would be to report her to
the authorities and to Make a Wish.  Her actions have nothing
to do with the hobby and sending her money also has nothing
to do with the hobby.

Having said that, how could anyone send money to this women?
This is an established (registered) charity - they get donations
from mailings and telemarketers.  You know the telemarketers
are legit since they send you a mailing if you commit to
giving (never give out your credit card number over the
phone to an unknown caller).  Also, they send you an official
receipt for tax purposes after they receive the donation.

Why give to a charity through a third party?

This is just a classic scam - associate yourself with an
established entity to establish credibility.

I'd bet she offered a discount of some sorts to those who donated.

Once again we have little heads thinking more than the big ones.

I think the guys are as much at fault as she is (if guilty at all) for being stupid enough to not give directly to the charity. If you wanna be charitable great ... but it appears to me the only reason you became charitable was to get a discount on a potential piece of ass.

Which act is more despicable then???

Jimbomania:

For someone who needs to see more proof that Cassandra is guilty, you have no qualm in calling the guys who donated guilty...

Maybe you didn't READ the link or see her post were she first claimed that only $1,400 was collected or see the FAKE receipt that didn't come from the MAKE A WISH foundation or how she came back to remove all her incriminating posts or maybe you could explain her disappearance after everything?

Ignorance is no excuse for stupidity!

Obviously she counted on the fact that guys weren't going to LE to explain the rip-off. [any more than they would tell their wives.]By the way, her site list/is linked to 9 TER reviews. [The three I skimmed were very positive] so she is using TER to attract clients.

I hope she chokes on that money.

All I can say is "wretched wench"!

...after a few beers. "Wretched wench" is a real lip-twister. :)

You're right. It is -- even without the beer. I still think she's a wretched wench.

That everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and judged this provider guilty as charged ... no trial, no jury, just execusion.

I thought this was America where people are innocent until proven guilty. Guess not.

Is it worth going after her like a frenzied mob? Probably not. With the legalities of everything and everyone being outed ... I doubt many would be willing to pay the price to stand before a judge, jury, your wife & kids and say you had a date with this woman and got a discount for giving to charity. (Which I'm certain was the case.)

Regardless, there are plenty of awesome ladies in southern Florida to keep even the busiest of hobbyers happy for a long, long time. Boycott her, she probably could care less. I still think she's hot.

I'd just like to see more proof that she never gave the money to charity.

La Dolcevita3832 reads

Did you not read the link included carefully?

Make a Wish never heard of her, nor has any record of the donation for that amount in their records.

It would be wrong to discredit her reputation and destroy her livelihood if this matter had not been thoroughly investigated.

Her own silence is incriminating, we asked her to show credible proof may times over.

If that was me, and I was innocent, I would be bending over backwards to prove my innocence.
