What floor is it safe to leave the curtains open?

In a hotel that is surrounded by highrises, or waterfront  properties this question may not apply. I have been with providers who don't mind being watched but I am a tad shy. At what floor do you feel it is safe to keep the curtains open at night?

Seems to me it is all about personal preference, especially if your provider has fewer inhibitions than you. I have, on more than one ocassion, enjoyed pressing flesh up to the glass. I would probably be a little self-conscious on the first few floors. Beyond that, who cares?

will depend on how close it is. But sight lines are straight lines, like lasers, so what happens on the bed would usually be safe.

As far as security cameras go, any hotel can plant a camera in any room. Whether or not that's legal, I'm not sure.

It was built with floor-to-ceiling glass in every room and with very good sight lines to nearby public space.  Couples began fucking up against the glass so spectators could see.  Word got around and it got to be a hip thing to do.  It got to the point where the hotel had to post a notice in every room warning couples they could be seen from the outside.
According to a recent article the high-jinks are still going on.
Note:  There has been no connection made with our little game.  While no doubt some couples have been hookers and tricks, it seems to be mostly kinky civviess engaging in public sex.

Actually it was the main road in the beach town of Biloxi Mississippi,

AAR, one night I took a chick I met at a nearby bar up to my office and ended up fucking her on my desk, I didn't even have shades on my windows and quite frankly at the time it didn't even dawn on me that someone might be able to see, A couple of days later I was driving by my office and happened to glance up and notice that my office was in plain sight, including a full view of my desk from the street below.

I guess I gave a bunch of motorists an eyeful that night, but it was one of those "oh well" moments, when I discovered  that I was in full view of the street below. It's not like I would have taken it back even if I could. lol

With the ability of cameras and telescopes on the market these days, an open window is an invitation to find yourself on You Porn these days.

Keeping the lights off however should work however.

I like keeping the shades closed myself.

I recall some years ago when the World Series was up in Toronto, the TV camera caught a couple going at it at one of the high rise hotels that ring the stadium.   They must have wanted to get caught.

If you are up on the 20th floor or above there is no way you can see anything from the street. Most of these hotels have tinted glass to keep UV rays out so they can leave the windows open.

Never walked into a hotel in the time where all the blinds are closed. Actually, I did this on Thursday in Westin.

I tend to default to the gentleman's preference on this one.  I am an exhibitionist and get off on having the curtains open.  Usually no one can really see in, and even if they did, they would have no idea who we are, what room we are in, etc.  I might have second thoughts on a low floor in a small town in a small hotel or something, but in general I enjoy the extra risqué of fucking with the curtains open.  I also love doing it on the balcony if the weather is nice enough.  ;)

this past summer.  Our room faced north towards the inlet/ beach with no other high rise nearby.  We deliberately kept the drapes open and fucked on a chair/over a chair, against the glass, etc.  just so we could enjoy the scenery as we enjoyed each other.  I doubt anyone could have seen us that high up and if they did, so what?  We were away from home on vacation and if they didn't like it they didn't have to look.  Spent 8 beautiful hours in that room that day stark naked the entire time.  Only threw a robe on to take room service for lunch.
