If you were so lucky to get a comic-con badge, there's a ton of stuff to do I'd suggest to check the website.

If not, I'd suggest looking here: http://sdccblog.com/events/
There are so many non-comic-con related events that you can go to without even having a badge!

It just depends on what type of stuff you fancy, being it people like Art, Games, Meeting people (such as the Mythbusters), Comics. So many things!

Comic-con, we all know that hotel's in the area will see double or triple the prices for rooms during that week, even as far as north county. I've seen Motel 6 in North County go from $69 to $120. For the ladies, Do you still book rooms and do incalls during the week or do you try to do outcalls? or If you plan to take a break, What are your plans? Are you going to visit any of the events going on in San Diego?

I would never waste $ on posting ads, or a hotel during Comic Con.  Your better off as a fun consultant to catch a date at any bar Downtown during this event.

Yeah, I'm going to Gam3rcon with some of my friends and some other friends are going to Comic-Con so I'm not planning to try to see anyone at least for the hobby (not to say that I wouldn't offer a badge to the convention in exchange for hanging out with me one of the days :P But anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone was doing anything particularly interesting or planning to go to one of the events going on that's not part of Comic-Con directly.

Well, I'm hoping to be able to spend some time with my ATF during the Con.

And, if she's game, possibly fulfilling a [PG-13 rated] fantasy of mine.  It has to take place at Comic-Con.

Nice, If I had a lady that enjoyed gaming or comics, I would totally invite them but sadly I don't. Hope it works out for you :)

This will be my first SDCC! I'm so excited and glad I live downtown in the midst of the madness. Any special events I should know about?
