9-10 - Interchangable. Guys give these scores for many reasons. I try to only see providers in this range but there's a shitload of pressure to not ding a 7-looks provider who has 9-10s with an accurate score because she's got mostly 9s and 10s from mongers with low standards. Fuck you guys.
8 - This is the honest score for many, many providers. But most of us are reluctant to give it to girls working the 9/10 range. It's honest and rarely used. Too bad.
6-7 - Sadly in this range, lots of girls could do solid business, except lots of us exclude them from our searches. It seems to cover everything from BS games to chubby gals with old pics. It shouldn't. Lots of guys are looking here. But sadly it also covers some fuckin' great providers who don't swap spit, only do CBJ, and don't do anal. So they get cut out of searches, by people targeting higher scores (like me) though they shouldn't.
1-5 - everyone averaging here is using fake pics, running a con, is managed by a trafficker, or a is crazy stalker who you don't want to meet. That actually sucks, because a legit 5/5 girl with a smoky no-tell motel incall may be precisely what some dudes are seeking, and can afford. It'd be better if there was some differentiation for those providers and guys, but there isn't.
This won't change shit, and I get that, but it's fucking disappointing to realize how broken the whole thing is, given what I spend on it

That happened once to me and this was the result
I've written only two reviews and both were such bad experiences I will probably never do it again.
The first time I gave a lady who had not yet been reviewed an 8 for looks and she was so greatly pissed off at me that she told me not to ever contact her again, which I really wanted to (and subsequent reviewers gave her mostly 8's also).
The second time a lady who had gotten a bad review after mostly good ones asked me to review her because I told her I really enjoyed the session. A question arose about the accuracy of her photos and I could see the point of the reviewer questioning them because I didn't think they were very accurate either, especially one of an incredibly sexy ass that I can assure you was not accurate because I buried my face in it for a long time any way. I stated my honest opinion, both the good and the bad, and as a result she emailed me and said I had only made matters worse and then she de-listed herself

Now, if all of us would actually give ratings; not based on your personal viewpoint, but on the actually definitions as they apply to the rest of the general population.
Rating a 9 or a 10, means they could be walk down a Victoria Secrets runway.
Rating a 8 is what it is, almost a model.
Rating a 5-7 (maybe an 8) is what you find at most strip clubs.
Ratings under 5 is what the rest of the population falls into. And still, there are a lot of gals that i'd consider to be a 5, attractive.
Now, just because you "like-em" a bit plump, or giant bolt-ons, or a big ass, or giant-tube-socks-tits, etc, etc....doesnt make her a 9 or a 10 to the general population. Not at all, she's a 9 or 10 in Your book. But she's not a model-material or once-in-a-lifetime. IF she were, she wouldn't be getting paid for sex. She's a 9 or 10 in your eyes, and thats totally fine. But the rating system here on TER should be what it generally believes to me to be, a real-world rating.
I got a buddy who is thin as a rail, but he LOVES really, really fat girls(and i mean big girls). He thinks they are all 9's and 10's. And thats fine too, its his personal opinion. But his views are not those of the general public at all. Now, if i were to see one of his bigger girls, i would rate them a 2 or 3 , and so would the rest of the general public.
If i do a search here on TER for all gal's that have 9's & 10's, probably about 5% of them could walk the runway in Paris or in Milan, or walk down the runway for Victoria Secret's. Also, there are even fewer gal's over the age of 30 that could be models regardless. Just cause she's got a shaved beaver, bolt-on's, and swallows, doesn't make her a 9 in looks either.
I understand that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder', but if i'm the next guy to plunk down my cash to fuck someone based on her 'looks' ratings here on TER, by all those who gave these gal's those skewed/high ratings, i'm gonna pissed and as is the gal i'm standing in front of...when i take back my donation and give her $50 bucks for her time, and then i go get back in my car and leave.
So i wish guys would stop rating those so fricking high, just because the fuck and suck ya.
Personally, in reviewing my own ratings from over the years, i'd lower 90% of the looks ratings down 2-3 points. I'd leave the other 10% where they are presently.
9 or 10 she looks better than her photos
8 or 9 she looks exactly like her photos
7 she look a little worse than her photos
6 her photos are very old
5 she might be the girl in the photo but sorely misrepresented
1-4 she is not the girl in the photo
You guys see the photos before you book and make your choice to see the ladies that you find beautiful whatever that means to you. I don't understand how you can choose a girl based on her photo and then if she looks exactly as represented then you give her anything below an 8 or 9. Why did you see her in the first place? You cannot possible rely on other peoples scores to make your decision for you when the photo is right there. As women we know that we are rated by everyone who passes us on the street. Some look at me and say "she's a 3" and the next guy says "she's a 9". This in no way reflects on me. It is a reflection of the guys doing the judging. I am the same exact girl who today gets a 10 and tomorrow gets a 7. Do you think I showed up to the later date in worse condition than the former? No, I am the same girl and I am not a number.
You may think you know what the general public finds beautiful but you are just feeding off what the media is selling you this week. The "general public's" as you call it, opinion has changed over the years but I can tell you from real life experience that you have a very narrow view of beauty.
So just choose the ladies that you think are 10s based on their photos. If you show up and she has not been accurately represented then blast her in the review for being deceptive. But don't yell at the guys who thought she was beautiful. That doesn't make sense at all

Sure models are very attractive - I'd be an idiot to say otherwise - but the stereotypical body-type and height of a model is NOT my ideal.
But this really isn't as complicated as some make it.
Look at a lady's pictures.
If you like them, then read reviews to see if guys say they are accurate.
And that's it - nothing else needed.
Only a fool would let a number override what his brain and dick is telling him (if confirmed by reviews) regarding a women's attractiveness. Hell, the media keeps trying to sell the notion that Angelina Jolie is one of, if not THE, most beautiful women in the world. Hasn't changed my opinion of her one iota (to me, she is just a good actress who is quite average looking but knows how to maximize what she has)

Most every guy makes numerous judgment calls every day about whether or not a woman is attractive to him and how high on a pedestal to place her. My brain has been honed over the years to such a very fine point that it takes a mere second to register whether I'm attracted or not. Could give a crap less over someone else's assessment regards the looks of any woman. Does the way she looks garner MY attention is the only criterion that is relevant.
