They don't play it on the radio anymore but I have the live version. Beautiful man...

Can’t say what the song for my ATF is because she might recognize it (she doesn’t know she’s my ATF and I don’t want her to know – she has enough power over me as it is).

But I used to play this song for another precious one and the lyrics and subtitle definitely fit her – and the game period:

“Turn Me Away (Get MuNNY)” by Erykah Badu (remake of a song from 1980 by Sylvia Striplin)

She had a thing for George Benson,I get a sigh everytime I hear it.....:-(

You shook me all night long.

I even set it up as her ringtone on my phone.

Love this classic song by Rainbow. All night long

but I've been wracking my brain here trying to come up with one, and having the hardest time doing so.

One that came to mind was a song my ex-wife and I sort of shared as "our" song (For at least the early years of our marriage, anyways.)  It was Rush's Subdivisions, and that only because we made a trip to Canada when that particular song was popular on the radio.  While we drove through endless subdivisions in the Toronto area, the song would play, and we found it amusing that way.

But I digress.

After a while, a song that I associate with a provider did come to mind, though perhaps song is not the right term.  It's more of an hour long tone poem (more like an epic really) called Thursday Afternoon by a favorite composer/musician/producer of mine named Brian Eno (He of U2 and other fine bands fame.)

The reason for this is two fold:

The provider was a massage provider whom I grew very close to over a period of nearly ten years, and Thursday afternoon was our time to get together for about an hour each week.  The music is perfectly suited for a massage, and I bought a CD for her to keep at the MP for her to use when I visited there.  It is soothing and yet also mindful.  It helped me to focus on the activity rather than space out.  The piece also has a charming 5 minutes ending consisting of bird songs which coincided with our afterglow.  I truly believe that Eno wrote this with some kind of similar sexual activity in mind.

I've linked to the piece below if anyone is interested, but I have to warn you: It's not a snappy little tune that you'll be humming for the rest of the day.  You have to really get into it over a lengthy period of time.

Nice. I like Jonny Lang's song by the same name better, though. ;)

I want to Fuck you like animal.you let me violate you
 you let me desecrate you
 you let me penetrate you
 you let me complicate you

help me
 i broke apart my insides
 help me
I've got no soul to sell
 help me
the only thing that works for me
help me get away from myself

i want to fuck you like an animal
i want to feel you from the inside
i want to fuck you like an animal
 my whole existence is flawed
you get me closer to god

All that pressure got you down
Has your head spinning all around
Feel the rhythm, chant the rhyme.
Come on along and have a real good time

And what do you do when you don’t dance

I like the Crusaders Song: Street Life (from the late 70’s and before advertising on the internet came out) as it's classy and sobering and mellow with smooth sax in its jazz:

I still hang around
Neither lost nor found
Hear the lonely sound
Of music in the night
Nights are always bright
That's all that's left for me, yeah

I play the street life because there's no place I can go
Street life, it's the only life I know
Street life and there's a thousand cards to play
Street life, until you play your life away

You let the people see
Just who you wanna be
And every night you sang
Just like a superstar
The type of life that's played
A temptin' masquerade
You dress and walk and talk
You're who you think you are

Street life, you can run away from time
Street life, for a nickel, for a dime
Street life, but you better not get old
Street life, or you're gonna feel the cold

There's always love for sale
A grown up fairy tale
Prince charming always smiles
Behind a silver spoon
And if you keep it young
Your song is always sung
Your love will pay your way
Beneath the silver moon

Street life…

Here’s a link to a live performance 2003

I got the number and it starts to ring.
I get excited and I start to dream.
I start to fantasize of memory lane.
Then she answers and she says right way.
She says I'm home on my own, home all alone.
So I got off the phone.

(BTW: I like those ol’ pay phones that are all but non-existent today. lol

A provider I dated for six months. She played this the evening we broke up. Ahhh, love lost.
