Is there a way? I live in SF and really want to see this girl that only does outcalls. What are my options if I want to remain completely anonymous? I'm in SF.
tell them "you would prefer to pay in cash". This should not be a problem.
you can make reservation using a hotel gift card (Hilton/Hyatt)
Most hotels want a CC for the security deposit but if you pay it using the debit card, how do you get your money back when you check out? My understanding is that funds taken off a debit card can't be put back on by the merchant but maybe I'm misinformed.

Ask the hotel at check-in. If the hotel is $300, I'd put on $500 just for incidentals and holds, whatever. And I'm sure once you're done with the card forever, they'd mail you a refund of any remaining balance. Or just spend all of your money and toss the card.
if there is room damage or mini-bar charges, etc. Some have even had statements sent to their address... bad if it's your HOME address.
Never leavge a provider in possesion of a room you've rented... anything that happens taces back to you.
In one case, I met the gal at the coffee shop next door, I promised her reimbursement on cash. She just didn't want to get stuck for the room bill if I no showed. Can't blame her. She rented the room & I reimbursed her. I didn't advance her the money & she didn't ask... scammers have been known to cash & dash.
along with a CC to reserve a room - I sure as hell haven't found it. They all require a name and address, even if you later pay in cash. Hell, half the time they want your license plate number for parking. There is a trail.
I guess you could find a good enough fake ID and use a prepaid card and cash for it all... but that sounds like one hell of a lot of work.

the key in the lobby . one can get a cc under a different name , its not that hard to do . the statement for the card can go to a business address or linked to ones own cc . also a lot of hotels are cutting down on staff and if you give the kid behind the counter a tip a fake id will work , they don't care as long as the card is good . zen is correct about the plated but a screwdriver and two screws will help with that . the video in the parking lot and lobby is on a 30 day loop so even if one has all the other stuff the eyes in the sky will have one recorded for at least a month .

motels do take cash and fake id . certain cities have good no tell motels others don't so it depends on ones location . that's his ( the ops ) best bet sf would be motel 6 on geary .

best bet is a good old back seat and i believe mr fisher has a wagon so pop in a blow up bed and presto an instant motel room , play some tunes and enjoy now that's an e ticket ride at Disney Minnie and tell Mickey i said hello .
but regular hotels? Never. I do of course receive a ton of emails with those insipid surveys about "did you enjoy your stay?"
It took me a while, but I've made it so uncomplicated I don't need to worry about threads like this. Here's how you do it.
1) Don't be married.
2) Tell your family you like to fuck hookers.
3) Don't work for anyone.
Try it. You'll like it.
And, yes, I know it's not that simple. But I've done it. And so have a few others I know. It doesn't suck.

As far as scratch goes, I can't help you there. Try having a really successful career or inheriting a bunch of money. And there's always the lottery.
My secret is NEVER to do it again. I had a few tough years financially after giving away not "half my shit" but all my shit, but in hindsight it was worth every penny.
I guess it helps to get divorced in your thirties, not in your fifties or sixties, faced with that prospect I would most likely choose for there to be an "accident" rather than go through costly divorce in my "old age", besides crocs need to eat too. lol
on point #3. You don't have to work for yourself, you just have to be *really* fucking good at whatever it is you do. Good enough such that normal rules don't apply.
If someone wants to track you down they are going to track you down. Many hotels **** and up may ask for you ID, especially if you are paying with by cash, gift card, etc. They may a copy of your drivers license.
In some cases they must comply with the law.
There is no real way to stay completely anonymous and your best bet is to be one among millions and not draw any attention
Your name will but they aint gonna mail you a receipt. Or get a prepaid mastercard and have her book it with that.
Been at this for a while. I've always reserved with a cc then paid cash at check out so no charge shows on your statement. No problems yet and has worked for me every time. If there is a concern that someone will see your statement, switch to electronic statements so they come to you directly and there is no paper trail. Has worked for me up to this point and as I've said, I've been engaged in this hobby for some time now.
Who it is you are hiding from determines the amount of work you need to put in. I've never had the need to be at a hotel anonymously. But off the top of my head I can think of a ID I could order to use in conjunction with a credit card in a name not my own and that might work. My vehicle is owned by an anonymous company, and I only show my passport as ID. With no real address for people to have on file, that's anonymous enough for me.
I frequently use hotwire when booking a hotel last minute.
Generally the hotel will ask for ID on check-in, and will take a credit card for incidentals (mini-bar, etc.) but I have never had a charge on my card from the hotel. The charge is always from the hotwire billing.
one time a the hotel didn't event take my credit card - but I think the guy checking me in screwed up on that one.
hotwire is great for securing a room on a day or two's notice. Switch your credit card to 'paperless' billing so statements are online only.
I haven't tried using a pre-paid card for hotwire, but if that works it would be a fairly secure way to go. You show your id to the hotel, use the pre-paid card to pay hotwire. Nothing is guaranteed, but this should offer some decent layers.
But remember - if your significant other gets suspicous and wants to dig or hire a PI to dig nothing will save you in this age. Every transaction is traceable; cash isn't necessarily but every hotel has cameras. The best way not to get caught is to avoid raising suspicion in the first place.
Set up a card with paperless billing and use it for only legit things for a few months. Join a gym that has showers/lockers. When you go out to have fun stop by the gym, check in, then go out and do your thing. Return to gym, shower, go home. leave your prepay phone in your gym locker that you rent. Leave a change of clothes in your gym locker. Pay off your credit card bill with money orders, etc. and get the money orders with cash. Use the card for hotels/airplanes. Use cash only for the girls. If you are patient and set up your situation and don't arouse suspicion from your significant other you can carry on fairly quietly.
If booking a hotel is that risky for you then you should only do incalls.
