He failed to delete his email-it is his problem-certainly not yours.  Likely the best thing for you or any provider caught in this trap would be to say nothing-no explanation-no apology-perhaps something like "I'm sorry but I really don't know what you are talking about" and end the conversation.  If contacted again - ignore !  Back in the day a gal I had been seeing was contacted due to telephone records and she did exactly that-told me of the contact later on-the SO was always suspicious but never had confirmation.

like that since. Thank fully . At least not to my knowledge. Which reminds me, i did for a while keep a disclaimer up stating i do not want my clients to call me on thier home, work or personal phones. I had it in vacation response, On the web site in my ads.  
         I would say DO NOT call me from a work , home or personal phone, please respect my safety and discretion .They sell "go phones" for very cheap at any walgreens or cvs.
                  But again i havent had any drama with clients being careless with where they leave the phone they use to communicaTE WITH ME, oR AT LEAST THEY INFORM ME NOT TO CALL IT CERTAIN TIMES AND ARE VERY CLEAR ON INSTRUCTIONS IN THAT WAY.
                                      You may have to put a vacation response as well as on the site AS well as in the ads. Alot times i will say "{be sure its a contact number i can return the call back on AT MY leisure "  
            As i recieve to high a response to ever be capable of returning every inquiry that same day or evening.  
 On back page especially the customers are expecting an appt that evening and are less accustomed to low volume providers whom may like me i may post an ad and do one call the be done, Next day i may go see 40 voicemails.  
 They cant think i am gonna have time to return all those inquiries that same day or worse hour.
                           Make sure they know to use a seperate phone and store it in a safe place and only take it out when they are ready to and able to talk.
 I had one guy yell at me when i returned his initial call from a post saying I was bothering him when i made the return cal and he was driving ectect.
                       I after that incident made sure to be clear to them that i do return EACH AND EVERY call i recieve after a post, After all i just paid for that ad and dont want to pay for a second ad until done goin down list and booking every inquiry, If i make sure to be clear that I do return every cal but it takes me time to get back to every one, and if they DONT want a call back if its after the fact, simpky communicate this to me.
 for example .."Angel, I am looking to meet you this evening from 4 pm - 10pm only" , " If your not able to make it then I will call you back next time i am able."  
 All it takes is a simple communication message filling me in they are looking for a certain timke window and certain time window only,  
                      Its a tad lengthy but if you just went through this for now, maybe put some extra instructions in ads, over email so this wont happen again.
                                                            I found very few and far between for me has been any problems concerning my methods of booking appts or calls being seen by people that shouldnt.  
 Last time that happened it was a client i got close too and it well , or he, i suppose he was no longer a client once the drama had begun, So it was different.   On my end he was telling me he was living else where so i didnt know he was also leading her on and living with her, Instead of being angry at him for kying to her yes I was seen as the bad guy.
 Even though he was tellin me they were seperated and getting divorced and not living there any more.  
 Once i discovered this i said you can have him I havent seen him since and dont miss him .  Ok sometimes i do, dammit but thats ok!

It is one thing for a SO to think they have caught him...  another to have confirmation.  Do you want to testify in divorce court?  I didn't think so.  Confirming makes you a threat & possible target of her rage.  At the very least, she could contact LE on you.

You should never answer a text, email or call from a clients SO.  

Block the numbers, email addys and do not answer a phone call from him (his #) after getting a text, email or VM from an SO as it could be her. Yes, he phucked up too by getting caught but it is still your job to stay out of it. Let him handle her, anything you say even if you think it is "helping" him can potentially hurt your client.  

It sucks mentally to know you are part of the reason someone innocent is hurt but for your own sanity take your mind off of it. He messed up but please don't answer anymore texts, emails calls from her.
