In Las Vegas I've already got a hotel room so an outcall is OK.  In Costa Rica there's no way I'd go to her place, so there, too, it's outcall.

I'm becoming quite fond of early evening outcalls.  I like that time of day for a date as I travel a fair amount and this gives me a chance to shower and rest after spending most of the day traveling.  I also like that the date ends when you say it ends so selfishly I don't have to watch the clock as I often get a little lucky and a lady wants to stay a bit longer to share some wine and Vegemite

i prefer when ladies are fully dressed and not half naked like when I walk in an incall.

Outcall is easier when travelling because I already will have a room, plus I may not have enough knowledge of the area to navigate to a lady's incall.

Incall is more convenient at home, since I can't have a lady come to my residence and I don't want to have to book a hotel room at home. However, I have done outcall in my home city under special circumstances when there was a lady I really wanted to see but who only offered outcall. Once I was burned doing that when the lady cancelled last minute after I checked in and paid for the room. All the other times it worked out, but there is the added expense to consider. If I am already paying 300+ for an hour of fun, I don't really want to be throwing a bunch more out for a room. Also, many providers say they offer outcall to your "upscale" hotel room. The hell with that. I don't do "upscale." If I'm booking a room for an hour or 2 of fun, I'm going with cheap. Now I won't do the fleabag motel in the ghetto part of town, but any 2 star with reasonable rates works for me.

Due to my home situation, outcalls are preferable. When I'm traveling or have a hotel room, I prefer incalls.

After I have met a provider  and intend to  repeat I prefer outcalls. It works for me.

The added hassle of having to arrange for a place is just too much work for me and I've never done it although I've missed out on seeing a few ladies I wanted to see.

My preference is an incall where the lady has her own place as I don't like meeting in hotels very much, but you don't seem to find that too often.

..I am in NYC and like mid day appointments during a long lunch break from work so it has to be incall.

When I'm home or when I'm traveling on business.

How to get the rest of the world to sign up is the question.

Personally, I prefer incalls over out calls, even though I do both. I've always felt that being in my own domain was just a bit safer, you never know what someone has in their house or in the drawers in their hotel room. But, I also prefer to use private apartments over hotels, for the obvious reasons. Which is difficult when I travel. I have checked out AirBnB, but I'm hesitant to take the plunge, because it could pose even more risk than a regular hotel.  

I would assume, that most gents prefer incall if they have a family/girlfriend/roommate/etc. But, I have had a few friends that are like me, feel comfortable in their own domain. And if they're nice guys, then that's fine with me too. I guess outs are a bit harder for me too, since I don't drive.  

But, I can say that in all the time I've been doing this that I definitely get more incall requests than I do outcalls.

...I prefer incall.  Afterall, we are a small community (no pun intended), and word spreads fast.  And the last thing I need is Gandalf getting on my case again.  I have a few regulars I go see in the elven towns.  Their menus can be limited though (some are PV only).  When I get the itch for PSE, I go see a fav in the outskirts of Mordor.

So when we are done, I can crash. No need to travel back to my hotel, afterwards

There is no general answer here and never will be. The answer will depend on local norms and hobbits situation. In my case, in my local area I prefer in calls and if I am in another city, I prefer out calls. So, it is situation dependent.  

Watched too many cops shows.  Could never blindly walk into a situation I don't have control of.  Single with private home, but even without that, I would get a hotel/motel room for outcall.

Incall:  No cost to rent a room, or to turn the house upside down to clean it, do laundry, etc.  Plus it's easy in and out.  
Downside is not feeling quite as at home, and having to be careful about where to put things, etc.

Outcall:  At my home I get to cook for the gal and feel at home. Best for overnights.
Downside is all the time and effort to prepare the place for her, or rent a hotel room. Some gals don't have cars, so I have to drive them two round trips.

I do a mix and it breaks down 50/50.

I think I preferred outcalls simply for the laziness aspect of it.  She would come in, we'd do the deed and she'd leave.  I never had to sit in a parking lot wondering what I was about to walk into.

Now though I am pretty much all about going to incall.  No choice between nosy neighbors, unexpected "drop ins" from friends/relatives and of SO who works close enough to home to drop in for lunch.  So I go out.
