I have a perfectly valid explanation for "who was that hot blonde going into your room last night?"

My answer would be very simple and direct. "Oh, she was a hooker I hired for the evening, she was hot, wasn't she?" lmao

Of course I am happily divorced and I am also the boss, so I don't really give a fuck if anyone approves or not. I really feel bad for the rest of you who have to lurk about in the shadows just to get a little strange every now and again.

I understand this is a good safety feature, but it can get into the way of setting up a smooth and discrete outcall.  When I travel, I'm always in meetings and all my professional associates are staying at the same place.  Meeting at the lobby can be somewhat tricky and you run the chance of being spotted by a colleague.  One awkward experience was walking down the hallway with a provider who was dressed in a skimpy outfit and running into one of my colleagues and his wife!  Would be interested in how others handle this delicate situation with discretion being the key ingredient.

It's not very smart to walk into a hotel and have all eyes on you.. What you can do is find a strategically located place in the hotel and leave a second key card there so she can quickly find it (under a phone, under a book on the coffe table etc) or you can tell her what you are wearing and have Her step in the elevator with you without saying a word so you can go up together. Both discreet ways to solve the problem.

Unless you're in Vegas or something, who wears skimpy outfits to outcalls?!

But in addition to what Paloma suggested, you could always request that she dress conservatively, in case there's any doubt.  And if she's driving to you, you could meet her in the parking garage with a second key.  Then go into the hotel individually.

It should go without saying that a lady should not show up at a decent (or even not so decent) hotel looking like a streetwalker. For her own good, if not for the sake of the client.

just being seen with another woman heading toward your room (particularly by a colleague's wife)...
Besides the previous suggestions...  What about making an excuse to get a room on a different floor.  Leaving a key card seems risky unless you wait for her & hand it off directly...  whick risks being seen but not losing the card.
I suppose there is a certain rush in getting it on under other's noses...  but I have no interest in doing so again.

I met her at the elevator on a lower floor, this way she could walk directly to the elevators and not have to draw attention or suspicion because she's loitering in the lobby waiting for me to come down. Also, it's best for the lady to not dress provocatively while coming to or leaving from an appointment. Unfortunately or sport has it's legal boundries, so we cannot always be ourselves when in a public forum.

As for your colleague and his wife, they can get their own escort. But seriously, you could arrange with your escort for you to walk well ahead of her if that is a problem for you.

Sometimes elite status, and upgrades to key access floors can cause more headaches than they're worth.

I dress pretty conservatively,  a good portion of my clientele stay in the harder to access rooms. I would like to let any newbie know not to hand off keys to a provider that isn't well reviewed or that you haven't seen before. There's plenty ways to hand off a key, one would be leaving it at the concierge in an envelope. Another in passing give the quick hand shake and pleasant smile. If you are seen by anyone you can always say it's a niece or cousin. I've had keys handed to me a few times so I could effortlessly return in the morning or the next night with no hassle. The house phone is your friend if it's offered, although a name like Tits McGee might turn some heads.

Get more than one key. Go up to your room. When you settle on the provider, you put the key in an envelope discretely, put her name and give it to the front desk. GenerallTell then it is for so and so to pick up.

Generally, when someone goes to the front desk and tell them Mr. ABC has left an envelope for me to pickup, they will simply give it to you.

Only works for those have travelled a lot and know how four star hotels work.

And when front desk asks for ID for 'Susie Hooker' what then? At least SPOTY still in reach for you.

Would you even consider seeing a hooker where your boss and colleagues are staying? How do you explain the hot blonde entering your room at midnight?

Know what my room number is, ever. They have my cell number if they need to call me. They have no business, no need to know, my room number. So all they know is some hot blonde is walking into someone's room.

I never tell others what room I'm in when on business.  They have my cell if they need to tell me where we are drinking tonight.  Otherwise, see you at the job tomorrow, buh bye.

HUH. And if by chance they see you coming out of that room the blonde went into the eve before as they're on your floor....slim chance sure but I'd never risk it. Ever. Not worth the chance.

I was dining at a high-end restaurant in Manhattan with another monger and two hookers.  You'd have loved the one I was with: Korean/American with an adorable face and a tall, slim body, decked out in a skin-tight mini-dress and platform heels.
I imagined that an old biddy would come up to me waving her finger and saying, "Shame on you!  She's young enough to be your daughter!"
I would have replied, "Oh, no, Madam.  She's far too young to be my daughter."
LMAO!

I think these ladies go on a travel site to find the highest rated/cheapest site. Then they get there and find out the issues. Although a top rated lady in San Diego gets a deal from the manager so she doesn't care. So you have to find the key she hides. What a pain in the ass.

Have her call you when she gets to the hotel lobby.

Tell her that you will be coming down the elevator shortly wearing a very particular article of clothing so that she will be able to identify you.  Give her a general description of yourself (height, weight, hair color, etc.) so there can be no mistake about it.

When you get to the lobby, she will see you, then follow you up back on the elevator without making any remarks to one another, and follow you off the elevator to your room, where, hopefully, there won't be anyone else around to see her go into your room.

It's easy and discreet.

Your system has one flaw which is that the guy will have to know her IRL name, as the front desk may require an ID before handing over the key.  They will most likely know exactly what is going on too.

Perhaps either spring for a second hotel room on that special night on a lower lever (usually do not require key access to floor) or in another hotel.

If pressed use the, "we worked together and we're catching up" line.

I have been dealing with this issue for almost 30 years.  LOL  My preference is to travel alone, or to stay at a different hotel than my employees, or at the very least on a different floor.  (ESSENTIAL!  I merely give my employees/co-workers names to the desk person at check in and ask to be placed far apart from my nerdy employees. LOL  This is also a good way to get upgraded to a better room once they learn that I'm the boss!) When meeting a woman I trust, I simply leave her a non-descript small brown-taped box at the front desk... and inform the desk that someone supposedly named "Sarah" or "Meg" (or whatever) will be coming at around 9PM to pick-up the package intended for David Johnson (or whoever).  I also write my cell # on the package just in case someone has the urge to call David Johnson to confirm.

If I forget to get the key card back at the end of the evening and will be staying longer (or, God forbid, if she were to not show-up to my room), I would then simply go down late and inform them that I lost my key and have them issue new electronic keys.  (OR if I trusted her and planned to see her again, she would keep the key for the next night... this has happened a few time too.)
