While my personal residence is not in the midst of this, I do have some income properties right smack in the middle of it all. I probably won't be able to get in to see the damage for another day, the entire complex is under mandatory evacuation so I'm keeping fingers crossed. What a mess! I'm dreading the insurance part of it all too. My heart goes out to all the people affected by this disaster.

Being a north county guy myself I can't help but be sensitive to the fires blazing in our area and I hope all of you are safe and unaffected.

I personally know a few of the lovely ladies on this board are very close to the action and I hope you are all safe and out of harms way.  Be safe and take care.

It's actually the second time I was in that situation, back in 1990's I lived near Lake San Marcos and I could see the same thing coming over the mountain behind Lake San Marcos. It's crazy to think about it ...
