I love all my guys who contact me properly. But these texts and emails that are hey, AV?, FS?, Suck my balls? I mean seriously I guess this is why they keep blowing up providers phones. Guys please treat ladies with respect. And if we do NOT take your call the first time it does not mean call back thirty more times in a afternoon. I recently was in session and despite having the phone on silent my client was luckily laughing. This guy called 9 times in less then an hour and 12 texts in about an hour. I texted back after session while my current client was there saying we were not a fit as I have stated if one leaves a vm with the info I request I will return the call within the hour. And he had contacted way to much. I receive a text saying I was a no good f whore that obviously does not need to be working in this industry. I am probably not worth the money or his time. Okay great then stop blowing up my phone. Two days later he calls again it took me a minute to realize it was him I had been speaking with. When I said I am sorry I am booked for the day he went off again this time screaming at me on the phone. I have listed his info on a few sites for others to see but he went as far as having some crack head (yes I said it) contact me. I looked up her info and well if you offer FS for $40 more power to you. But what I had been reading about her was extremely scary. I am just curious how I should approach for future possible idiots. I blocked his call and her calls. YOu never know. I have a lot of guys who have gone off because I stated we are not a fit for them calling all hours of the night or back to back calls. I have been in this hobby for two years and enjoy but my goodness is this really needed?

If you only have a phone for first contact, YOU need to change that and it will greatly reduce the text-a-douches. Put email only and vet via that. if you don't like the emails, you can delete them.

Yes, ditto with this. In my 5 years in the business, I've went from no texts, to email only, to getting 2 lines, 2 phones, dual sims, and now finally....heaven sent Google voice + 2 phones with the occasional no text policy. People who blow my phone up usually don't get far as ill be blocking them faster than a ton of bricks.

I loved having google voice but it just got to be where unless I tried to use an android I couldn't block anyone right then and there and I take almost nothing to the condo. (dont do outside of my home) and google voice kept messing up. But I love my iphone for the 2nd phone it's ancient but works just the same as my new one. Based on your post, it doesn’t appear you would see them anyway. If you have an iPhone, you can block unwanted calls and you would never have to deal with it since you wouldn’t even know.
Don’t know about other phones have the same capability. I block numbers of all unwanted calls I get soon after I get them.
THanks.. I do use an iphone now... I loved google voice till many changes they were making were causing me to miss calls as well as I couldn't block anyone or as they call it SPAM anyone till I got back home to do online on the computer. At times I would have a few minutes and log into the voice as if I were using a desktop version but iphone made their app a pain in the butt to block idiots...
And yes iphone is good with that since they made it an option on one of the updates a bit back... I have personal people I know I had to block. lol
Not only would that allow clients to book appointments while you're working, it would also free you from dealing with jerks who don't know how to contact providers in a courteous way. You might have to raise your rates a bit to cover it, but it could save you a lot of hassle. Just a thought.
Thanks I have thought about this option but truthfully I only see a few clients in a day. And when I first started doing this I worked with someone who handled that and it was a nightmare.
I do have a friend who use to do this that moved away and I have thought about having her do it but we both laugh about it because I book everyone so far apart that it does allow time to reach back to those who contact and I do NOT wish to have clients back to back like some do...

reread... I prefer one hour notice... Most my clients book the evening prior for the next morning, or morning for afternoon....
I also only see a few in a day... And everyone is so far spaced I have no high fives or any chance of anyone seeing each other..

The good news is that the guys you really want to see are the gentlemen that email sweetly.
And the good news is that people who are bad on txt, phone and email tend to be bad all around. You don’t want them anyways,
- so either way, you win.
Just continue to be careful on screening and try to get rid of creepers as quickly and painlessly as possible. Plenty of fine Hobbyists around save your time for them.

...Use e-mail only for initial contact. Communicate by e-mail until everything (screening, etc.) is set then give him your number on the day of the appointment so he can let you know he has arrived. Not giving out your number until everything is set cuts out the jerks and time wasters plus there won't be calls during appointments.
o all of the above but instead of giving him your number have him give you his number and you call him while he is standing on the corner.
Call your phone your "Private Line" & they get the number after you decide to book... or make a day ahead...
But at his age in life he simply forgot that he called you three minutes after each contact.

And, as a couple of earlier posters have pointed out, letting people have your phone # for initial contact is a big part of your problem and not wise.
But I'm not blaming the victim. The guys you describe are ass clowns. Truth is, our little world is populated with more than its fair share of sick fucks and I include fucks packing pussies as well as those packing peni. It actually isn't that surprising, since sex is the most primal act humans engage in. So lots of fucked up neurotic losers end up as whoremongers because they can't form real relationships.
