In case you couldn't tell by my name, I'm a huge comic book fan. I go every year and it's a blast, but I really want to bring a really hot provider for the weekend to dress up as a sexy superhero with me.
I just wondered how many of you guys have done the whole multiple-day with a provider thing and if you'd recommend it, because I think bringing a provider to this would be a blast for me.
I doubt there's any shortage of hotties who will already be "dressed up" and really into that scene.

i realize comic con has become a hip and socially acceptable event for people (including celebs) to attend in recent years but let's be legit for just one sec, the average attendee is running "aspie neckbeard" game, for real lmao. what's makes this even worse is OP is probably middle aged and he is seriously entertaining the idea of paying an escort to be his friend/arm candy for the duration of the event... just lol.

I don't get what the fuss is. You bring and incredibly hot girl to play dress up and tease and antagonize all the "middle aged men" @@ but at the end of the day she's yours and you both have a story. Why not, seems like a riot to me! The game has changed, it's mainstream now. I'd rather salivate over a hot woman any day, especially when she's wrapped up nicely in latex, vinyl and leather.

Not something I would do, but if the OP wants to do it, why not? I have actually seen providers mention it on regional boards. Several providers attend every year and I'm sure some would be more than happy to attend with a "paying companion."

Inicky is not judging him for how he hobbies, ie how/when/where/with whom/in what orifice, he is judging him for being a comic book fan, and we ALL make fun of comic book fans, Trekkies et al, and it has nothing to do with whore mongering, it's just that those people are so easy to make fun of.
I too would make fun of him for going to a comic book convention if Inicky hadn't already done it, but I will concede that the OP won't look half as dorky with a hottie on his arm. He should be the envy of every other nerd there, so for that reason, and that reason alone. I fully approve. lol
and one last thing, doubt that Nicky would be making fun of the OP if he were to come on here and ask if it were ok to fuck actually fuck a comic book character, but calling someone weird for going to a comic book convention is fair game IMO
I think anyone who goes to ComicCon, especially in a costume, is weird. And if he finds it exciting to go with a hooker, I find that doubly weird. And, while I appreciate GaG's defense, I'll admit that it's a bit of a violation of the "don't judge the way others play" rule (but please note that I did not use the word "h*bby." *choke*). Oh, well, you know the old expression: A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.

There are a ton of gamer/comic/Fandom girls out in the world who love Comic Con. I've been to mini Cons myself and it's pretty great if you're into that
That's pretty cool. Are you just going, or are you gonna cosplay? And if so what genre, gamer, manga, superhero, sci fi, steampunk, what do you bust?
And of course Sci fi.
It's not any different than any other multiple day thing you might do. Not any different than going to a resort with a provider. There are a LOT of people on this board who think that would be a waste of money. The classic line around here is "I am not gonna pay some hooker to eat". I guess it depends how important money is to you.
Providers are people too. Some are closet nerds. I can think of at least one who might be really interested in Comic Con. Several days is a long time for anybody to pretend to be interested to dress up as a superheroine (or in you...) - so whoever it is really does need to be interested in the event (and in you) in addition to her interest in your bankroll.
Further, you may want to consider whether YOU want to spend three or four days with her - as opposed to "ordering in" for the evening or a few quickies between con events. I am pretty sure that for that amount of money you could rent a dungeon for the evening - and play evil super villain with voluptuous lycra clad hench-girl who now has wonderwoman at his mercy - who will do anything to escape or...... the mind boggles. Might want to do that anyway as an activity come to think of it... But I digress.
Basically, at this point, it really is renting a friend and companionship for several days - and the sex is gong to be secondary. Is she somebody you want to have 10 or 15 meals with? Is she somebody you want to travel with? You need to seriously consider how you get along with her outside the bedroom.
It may make a really interesting review...
There are lots of posts about comic con on the SD regional board every year. Several providers regularly attend, and I'm sure you can find one to go with you for a fee. I'm not sure if San Diego is the one you are considering. It is the biggest, but there are other comic cons in different cities. My point is to ask on the regional board instead of the General board. You can do an ISO on a regional discussion board, or the ISO board.
Not my scene but if it floats your boat, go for it. Nothing in this hobby is really weird.

But some people certainly are! You're right about Andygandy, and I'd throw some other names out there too.
I've wanted to do the same thing for a very long time. I now am lucky enough to be acquainted with the perfect provider for this kind of adventure. Hell, she actually was the one who asked me if we could do SDCC next year. I mean, Yeah, she knew of my lifelong obsession with comic books, and has recently come to realize just how many of her clients are similarly afflicted. So I'm helping her explore this area--and I've loaded her up with many of the "classics" of "graphic literature" (y'know, like X-Men back when it was good, certain key story arcs of Batman, etc).
The main thing we're working on is that she doesn't want to just do cosplay--she and I are working on a whole original "from scratch" super villain persona for her, complete with an original design and costume.
And Yeah, I've done the multi-day adventure thing often (although not at Comic-Con--yet), and it is a blast, if you're doing it with a provider that you really click with.
btw, long ago, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, and comic book conventions were not mainstream, there were still girls who liked to dress up at conventions. In the early days of cable TV, on a "public-access" channel in NYC (think YouTube for the nearest equivalent) a show existed called "The Ugly George Hour of Truth, Sex and Violence". One of the many things that George would do is go into conventions and shoot video of gals dressed in wonderful skin-tight latex and leather (with their permission, of course) and then air it on his show (George also used to shoot video of himself trying to bed these women--and he succeeded far more often than you might think).
Anyway, the point is: Don't let the haters tell you that this particular desire is too f'in weird. It's not. It's been around for as long as people have been doing dress-up for cons.
I volunteer to go as Harley Quinn, Daenerys Targeryan or Fiona from Adventure Time.

I don't think its weird. I'm not a huge comic fan but I think the whole point of a great date is finding a provider that can share that with you and actually enjoys it. I mean it's original and different. DIfferent than, drinks/wine, dinner, back to the hotel.. Wash/rinse/repeat. Not that there's anything wrong with that either.
But how awesome is it when you can find someone to enjoy and share that with. After all that's who YOU are and your willing to share a little of that with someone.
I'm surprised that many of the seasoned hobbyists wouldn't agree. To each his own.
Whether I think going to a comic convention is silly is irrelevant because it really is just all about sharing a part of you with someone else and enjoying the moment.
So i say go for it and if you find a provider that wants to do that - I think that's incredibly cool!! And yes I'm a middle aged guy.... Who's not into comics ...

It’s your money do whatever you want to with it. Everybody has their reasons for being in the hobby.
The obvious, companionship, fantasy, arm candy or whatever and there is always a provider out there that will be more than willing to accommodate you. If you want to go to movie or bowling and you don’t have a date well hey there is someone on this site for you. If you just want to feel special and have some arm candy to show off well…..
