Then, if there are several, compare his scores on those ladies with those before and after.

Two kinds of trust. 1) Are he and the lady legit? 2) Are his reviews accurate.

It's pretty hard to keep a list of trusted reviewers in your head, but you can do what you can to determine how much trust you'll warrant.

And, of course, everyone has to start with the first review.

Also, it's not uncommon for reviewers to fudge a rating up a notch if in the juicy details they reference that the girl is new.

As the title states... do you folks trust girls with just 1 review? How about if the review is more than 6 months old?

You can check if he has other reviews. If he only has 1 review I would be careful. If he has many recent reviews chances are the girl is legit.

You can always PM him.

I think this thread belongs in the newbie board though.

Didn't know that board existed (sorry my fault for not looking). Ty for notifying me!

Sometimes the same posters are much nicer over there than over here lol

...trust one review. If he has written a lot of reviews and has a good reputation his opinion would be of value. This would be especially true if he and I had seen some of the same providers and his opinion matched mine. I'd want to PM him if possible and get some feedback.

If she were with an agency I trusted only having one review wouldn't automatically cause me to not consider her.
If a provider I trusted referred her the one review might not matter.
How good the review is would of course be a consideration.

Without any of the above I'd pass.

I wouldn't trust a review unless I was there?

...my current ATF had only one review.

I saw a woman a couple months ago who has since started using a new name and phone. She just got her first review under a new profile and it sounds like bs to me. It's not a case of collusion where the reviewer is a shill for the provider; I just don't believe he actually saw her. Among other things, he got some physical details wrong. He's written lots of other reviews and I have no way of knowing how many are real and how many might be fake. While this doesn't reflect poorly on the provider, it does show the problem of trusting just one review. If a fake review is just one of many, it can't do much harm. But if it's the only thing you have to go on, it can lead you astray.

I do not trust any reviews without looking at them, seeing the track record of the reviewer and how this review fits into that track record. In some cases, one review can be a lot more meaningful than 4 or 5 reviews from guys with one review, guys who clearly are touting for a particular agency, or guys who give the same scores, usually 9s and 10s, to everyone.

As for whether or not I trust one review that is 6 months old, I would go through a few more checks on that one. Is the reviewer someone I know and still around? Has he reviewed anyone since then? What track record can I find for the provider? But mostly, if the review seems credible and the provider is interesting I would go ahead with mild reservations. The reservations would be about her availability and reliability. My experience with someone who just has one review that is six months old is that the odds of actually connecting are low. So I would expect to have to send more than one email to connect, and would not count on seeing her until I get a reply and we set a date; prior to that it would just be a fishing expedition.
