I was having this conversation with a guy recently:
I am of the opinion/observation that people tend to MARRY people who are similar to themselves. Same race, religion, background, socio economic class, education, etc. Of course not always, but generally people marry partners who "fit" whats acceptable to their family, peers, and social circle.
But people seem to like to fck people who are much different than themselves. For ex: White guys like to fck dark skinned women or Asian women or brunette exotic looks. Black men like to fck blondes, Latinas, etc. Fat guys like skinny girls, skinny guys like chunky girls. Old guys like fcking younger girls, young guys like fcking older women...
So my question is: Do you guys agree? Did you settle down with a girl who looks like you, but tend to like to fck women who are your opposite
I like to fuck women of all races, hair colors, skin colors, etc
as for LTR's there is really no rhyme or reason as to who I end up with, I've had LTRs with women of all races and even with women who barely spoke English, actually several women who barely spoke English.
Of course I am a mutt, if I were only to settle down with women "Like me" I would be looking at a very small talent pool.
As for what my family, friends, et al thinks is acceptable where it comes to my love life, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a fuck" I am way too selfish to care about what other people think.
If I liked women who are totally and completely opposite of me, I'd fck women who are dumb, not good looking, unclassy, unrefined, smelly like rotten fish, stupid, cold-hearted, and just plain mean...
Point is, I guess there's a point of compromise somewhere cuz I wouldn't want the girl to be TOO opposite.
If you meant, slightly opposite on certain things such as me being conservative and she being a bit wilder, yes.
Me being straight and she being bi. HELL YES!
Me being asian and she being foreigner. HELL YES

I married a woman with whom I shared race, politics, intelligence, social status, etc but it only lasted for 52 years. Since she died I have fk a variety of women, Caucasians, Asians, all of them younger than me (not many 80+ providers), all more beautiful than me. I select on what is between their ears and in their heart as well as how they look. All are hot! Thus I don't agree with your observation.
my personal relationships are pretty much exclusively with women in their mid 30s, usually Caucasian, often European. I am very strongly drawn to a certain "type" in terms of relationships but not at all when it comes to sport....
when it comes to sport fucking I'm all over the place - a true omnivore - but I do really enjoy younger Asian women and much younger (yes, legal, but say 18-24 year old) gals who are Caucasian, Ebony or Latina. For me it's about variety...
The common denominator is slender - not "skinny" but slender and fit...
So I am not looking for opposites - I am fit and prefer fit women
The political/social differences have always been of significance in who I pair bond with, settle down with, live with. I disregard that in terms of which providers I visit because I have no idea who they are in that way before meeting them. And I don't usually bother to find out. I prejudge a little, assuming that most providers are more conservative. And that they mostly stem from middleclass families.
As far as looks, I tend to gravitate to lookalikes of women with whom I had strong relationships with in the past. I could break my choices down to five types, but almost everything opinion based breaks down to five type categories for almost everyone. It just works that way. So the five types are meaningless. But, in my case, they all center around traits and aspects I associate with those women I loved in my early years. Sort of trying to relive a better time. Once in a great while I end up with a woman I misjudged who is nothing like anyone I loved in my youth, and that's usually been okay, too.
There aren't many women in the life who resemble me in genetic terms, so that doesn't apply much for me.
My ex-husband (and the love of my life) was a dark-skinned man from the hood who never made it past a high-school education. Our pictures together were a constant source of comedy because it was either me standing next to a black shadow...or him standing next to a washed out ghost. But he was definitely my physical ideal.
When it comes to partners for sport sex, there is a specific body type (like the ex) that attracts me, more so than the race or background. What I am almost NEVER attracted to - no matter what the body type - is a fair complexion with blonde hair and blue eyes. In fact, men (and women) who look that similar to me are almost a "yuck" sexually.
So I guess I'm one who does prefer to fuck folks who are at least dissimilar to me... but my heart chose an actual opposite
What I said above was limited to my personal playtime preferences. I can have one hell of a great time with a person of almost any physical configuration, so long as their attitude is attractive! I think it's one of the gifts I've received in this business, actually. I experience an almost greedy level of arousal when I'm in a P4P situation with someone I like - no matter what their body type. And before someone gets all cynical and says it's the just cash making me wet, that's only true to the extent that it defines the relationship. Unlike civilian sex, there's no awkwardness or uncertainty about feelings and expectations - I can just relax into the moment and enjoy the physical sensations in a way I can't with a civilian.
I can see how that might be a problem later in life, when it comes to love and real life and stuff....but for now, it's pretty great!
After all, marriage is a long term commitment filled with legal and spiritual obligations. I choose a partner there based on the person's character mostly, among other things, my sexual desire for them being one, but not the primary one.
But on a P4P date, sexual desire pretty much tops the list, and yes, strangeness can be sexy.
The similarities and common interests is the glue that can hold us together; but it's the differences that really bring the excitement into the relationship.
