Are the forums an addiction?

I have been here just a short time and have noticed I simply have trouble pulling away. I find the interactions fascinating, has anyone found the forums too engaging or participation spilling into real life, both in good ways and bad?

Well said.
That is exactly how I got caught up into this shit.
Welcome.

Perhaps not as bad as I used to be but, yes, it's an odd day when I'm not on here for a few minutes.

Just curious

That'll be an indication if it really is an addiction.

He needs 2 days of rest to be ready to go at this...so tomorrow should be the next macai assault.

even if you share very little in common otherwise. The fact that what IS shared is prohibited as well as a heterodox by the mainstream makes participation all the more titillating.

I have to take a few days off sometimes.

I just don't want to.

Haven't we all heard that before? lol

But, just in case, is there a 12-step program or something?

I get to fuck with the dicks, the cunts & the trannys! lol

On this site you can openly discuss what typical US society wants to keep quiet.  We may judge you, and poke fun at you, but we WILL respect your right to do the same with us, and support your curiosity & personal growth -- we're like an older brother that way.

When you visit TER your mind knows it can open that sex box and root around for all the little ideas and thoughts you've been taught to hide all your life.  It's relaxing to have that stress outlet, it's invigorating to partake in some of the discussions, it's titillating to see the eye candy and have a chance at it, and it's empowering to take control over this aspect of your life.  Probably a lot of other positives out there, just as there are a lot of different viewpoints.

Besides, have EVER tried to talk about this stuff with one of your friends in real life?!?  I've tried twice (both are married): one understands but doesn't want to hear about it unless he's travelling, the other damn near cut me out of his deeply religious life.  And that's just hinting at the hobby, let alone some of the in-depth discussions on here!
