Email me at [email protected] with your problem and I will look into it.

-- Staff

There have been several posts regarding questionable reviews lately.

Some of you have written that there are inconsistancies, you suspect fake reviews, lacking detail, etc.

I put this issue up on the moderators board for discussion and the feedback has been to have you submit a problem report whenever you run across a "bad" review.

You can use the "Contact Us" link on the menu above, or send an email to [email protected].

In either situation, PLEASE inlcude the link to the review, as well as an explanation of why you feel the review is not good.

Posting on the discussion boards won't help, but a direct message to staff via the feedback or the above email address will work.

Thanks,

J

I've submitted several what I believe to be no-brainer problem reports recently with no action taken.

For example, Austin's profile still lacks the "Ripoff" label that she clearly deserves.  Seems like one or two slightly higher than ripoff reviews is all it takes to erase that label.  Once the other providers catch on, one will be hard pressed to find that label anywhere.  In my opinion, once a provider earns that label, she should get consistently good reviews from at least a few established reviewers before the label is removed, and if one ripoff review comes in later, she's back to the bottom of the barrel.

What if TER issued a probation period of some type for providers who recieve rip off status

There may be other issues on the table of which we are unaware, resulting in Austin's "ripoff" banner being removed. Bridgette and Austin are among the most litigious (or, probably more likely, litigious-sounding) of the ripoff providers. Sedagive mentioned that Bridgette threatened to sue if she wasn't allowed to advertise on Southcoastvip.com, although Southcoastvip stood their ground. Wonder if something analogous occurred here, along with the few questionable reviews of which you take note.

People like Boxcars screw up the ratings big time.  He gives Austin a 7 in performance, and Jenna a 6.  Most of Austin's other reviews are ripoff level, Jenna's only other review is ripoff.

I submitted a problem report about Boxcars' disparate reviews of Jenna and Austin, and lo and behold, his (or her) review of Jenna is gone.  However, his review of Austin is up, with a laughable 7 rating in performance, by any criteria, even if one believes his details.

It's obvious that Boxcar's --whoever that is -- take on Austin is beyond flawed. First, Boxcar stated that all of Austin reviews are unfair. Well, how would Boxcar know how fair or unfair Austin's reviews truly are? I'm sure Boxcar didn't participate in any of Austin's encounters with other hobbyists -- and don't give me that nonsense about judging Austin according to how she treated him (or her); this is clearly not a case of YMMV. It's nonsense! Second, Boxcar wasn't specific on the "happy ending" that the great Austin provided -- if Boxcar really wanted to help Austin, he (or she) would have been excited to share more details about how the "happy ending" occurred. One shouldn't be too secretive about a provider services, especially when one is trying to alter a provider's reputation. In my estimation, it was intentional that Boxcar -- probably Austin or a friend of hers -- didn't go into details. It gives Austin a chance to create a lie about the happy ending. Above all else, Boxcar could be a person trying to get free TER vip membership or someone trying to start debates. Gents, be careful about Austin and all rip-off queens!

Why should we waste our time pointing out obvious problems when nothing is done?

Suppose that Austin has a good lawyer on retention was able to succeed in getting her ripoff banner removed and Boxcar's review kept up and that Staff's hands are tied temporarily pending the outcome of some piece of legal paper.

Then Boxcar's attempt and the lack of the banner would be negated if Austin had an average of less than 2.0 due to a shitload of horrible reviews.

Anyone care to join us in burying Boxcars positive review under the real truth about Austin?

In a perfect world, Austin would have a rip-off banner on her review page. However, there is already page after page of reviews confirming her status as one of San Diego's finest cash-and-dash girls. One or two bogus reviews can't effectively alter this stark reality, either for her or prospective hobbyists.

I went back and re-read Boxcars review of her and it still doesn't quite add up, although he does mention how bad her reviews are from everyone else.

I guess he was just one lucky SOB, because not only did she not dash, but he was allowed a "happy ending".
