the definition of industry:
"economic activity concerned with the processing of raw materials and manufacture of goods in factories."
to my way of thinking, to most of the ladies this is a business (or a Biz as I think of it)
and to me, it is a sport....
to the best of the ladies I've known it's a sport as well :p
where is it heading?
that depends on whether it is ever decriminalized or legalized -
decriminalization would be good in most ways but would probably push prices down because I think there are more women who would get into the biz than there are more men who would be attracted to it
legalization would destroy it -
if things stay as they are legally, I think that the biz will continue to evolve - economic decline seems to be a permanent feature of life in the US these days unless you are already established enough or wealthy enough to avoid it so I suspect that an increasing variety of providers will be available.
Some segments will raise prices if the economy improves - some new segments will then open.
It is always in flux
but the basics will likely remain the same...
