what gives?

My experience as a newbie and how I went about it:

1. Photos first to show at least body type and maybe face.

This is the start to pique my interest. Check all sites by plugging in phone number in a search engine. I liked what I saw in the provider I choose and her photos were professional, and not a selfie with a cell phone. Then it’s onto the next important step: Reviews on her.

2. Many written reviews with the majority that are positive

Even if you’re not VIP on TER, ones that have ten or more written reviews in the General Details can give you a sense of how she looks and performs. I look for similarities of what others have said, and it’s intriguing that once the meeting takes place how some of the written descriptions came across quite truthfully in appearance, attitude and work ethic. If I see three or more YMMV from different reviewers out of a dozen reviews, to me it’s a red flag, and I’ll probably not contact that provider. (I’m thinking here there can be inconsistencies in that provider which may have to do with health and mood as in lack of interest then a session with an undesirable client). Also, if I don’t see up-to-date reviews, than that’s also a red flag, as there can be various reasons for it, but mostly, I have nothing recent to go on.  

3. Providers profile.

As far as the provider’s profile, what I look for is a stated non-smoker. This may be a sign that they take care of their health and has more stamina during an hour session. (It doesn't mean I rule out smokers, as long as they don’t some during a session, though). Then I look at the provider’s attitude and education. The provider’s profile I read said she was into her health and no drama; it piqued my interest. She came across as being educated, too.

4. Donation

Okay, this one can be different for everyone. As some clients have deep pockets and others don’t. I don’t have deep pockets and could not afford to risk the unknown, yet with all of the above, and doing research on the average rate, I choose someone in the 200-300 range for one hour. This amount seemed fair enough. Anything less could mean a less than attractive or over weight provider who is not into her health and may be desperate, or they had add-ons during the session. (Now there are some exceptions with lower donation and great service, but I did not want to take this chance first time). Anything more is out of my donation range.

5. Risk

It takes risk to meet someone for the first time, especially independents. (I've heard more praise from some who choose agency providers. Maybe there is more at stake with them because their reputation is linked to the agency.) Yet, if you want it bad enough, a risk must be taken, or look at it as an adventure?

6. Educated guess or luck?

In some ways I feel very lucky in having a first time success. Screening was almost non-existent, which made it easy same day, and she was terrific. Afterwards, I felt I was off to a great start. The best I can answer here is that the homework paid off with my educated guess.

7. Newbie vs. experienced

The experience hobbiest has a lot more to add than a newbie, however, the more providers they see the more comparisons they can make to each session as in good, bad or fair from spinners to milfs to gilfs. Some have many great sessions, and some take the less than stellar experience in stride, while others complain (Perhaps rightly so, at least to inform others with not only said looks and services not delivered, but those being late, no-shows or no-shows when the provider gets all your personal information, or takes a deposit and doesn't show; worse, takes your money and runs. Okay, the experiences are fantastic, then there’s the worry about STDs. Also, some experienced clients take more risk without doing the homework and wind up getting busted by LE. Just saying, I've seen all of this on the general discussion boards and I've come away being more aware of the pitfalls. (Note: This is not a reflection on the professional providers, and those that come across a bad apple or two. I understand they have their stories and a blacklist.)

 
To conclude, it seems to be well worth it though, being the power, drive and command of that other head; the thrill of it all in hopes of the desired outcome, when after doing the homework and what’s left of caution from newbie to experienced is thrown to the wind. There’s nothing quite like great sex with a woman (I can’t think of too many other things that can make me feel more alive), who just happens to be the right provider for you

in my experience there is no positive correlation between high rates and high quality of service....

I go by reviews, not prices.....

I would go so far as to say that what I have seen generally is that if there is such a thing as a price / performance correlation it is decidedly *not*  higher prices = higher performance actually....

in my market area somewhere between 100 to 50 less than they typical price range seems to yield highest performance *and* appearance in my experience - and you don't have to see "fat" providers who live at a distance to accomplish this....

you may find it interesting for you to do a review search using metrics -  say 8.5 average for performance and appearance combined - in your area - and see where the prices are mostly falling -  your area may be different from mine.....

note that by performance I am not meaning "gfe choreography" I am talking about sex.  I am surrounded by women who will talk my ear off all day long for free.....   it seems to be a rather common trait :p    

so in your review search you may have to read some reviews,  so that you can discern between mongers who are looking for a pseudo-girlfriend-hand-holding-pseudo-therapist and those who are looking for actual sucking and fucking....

My 1st review here on TER was from a client that in his words, never saw anyone that wasn't heavily reviewed.  It is a funny story.  He came across my ad and looked to see if I had any review and I did not.  So he moved on.  But something kept bringing him back to my site.  So he contacted me and asked if I had any reviews anywhere.  I did not but directed him to a good friend of mine who had hundreds of reviews here on TER.  He contacted my friend to see if I was legit but still didn't trust her recommendation and booked with someone else.

The girl he booked canceled last minute so he gave me a try.  He booked for 3 hrs but asked if I would be available to stay longer if we hit it off.  I told him my schedule was completely open.  That 3 hr turned into 3 days.  

When he booked the 3 hrs I flirtatiously said "you won't want to let me go" and I was right.  At the end of the first 3 hrs, he asked if I would stay the night.  The next morning he asked if I could stay another day/night, and the following morning the same thing.  I was not living in the city we met and had to keep calling the airline to extend my ticket.  He had to keep going to the bank to pay my donation.

Since that first meeting I have gone on many trips with this client and he is one of my ATF clients.  So, i understand not wanting to step out and try something that has not been tested and reviewed, but just sometimes you may discover something GREAT
