No doubt, the safety of providers is a top priority. I would not want to see a provider who doesn't take extra precautions for herself. However, guarding our personal information is equally important. Some of us don't want to take that risk. So the question is, how do we strike a balance in this tug of war?

I believe it should really be the norm that it's acceptable for hobbyists to use their stage name as long as they have more than 5 or so provider references from reputable providers. It could be set higher to a 10. It's just some random number I came up with but each provider can set this number to their liking, the quality of references obviously matter. It can be 15 or 25 or 50 P411 references for all we know. Or, it can be just 2 references from other solid providers that she trusts more who can vouch for the guy. Whatever works for the girl.

The point is, essentially, I'm wondering if there are any providers here who would be willing to accept our "Trusted Hobby Name"(TM)  provided that it comes with plenty of good references attached to it despite both parties being aware that it's a 100% fictitious identity.

To get the providers to start thinking about this, let me teach you a few things about craziness: There are plenty of crazy providers are out there who abuse our information and the old adage of sticking to reputable providers just doesn't cut it anymore. Craziness does not discriminate race, intelligence, or how good her TER reviews are. It doesn't care how popular or respected she is on TER either. BSC exists in all flavors and when they decide to flip crazy on me, I don't want to be at the receiving end risking career opportunities because some spiteful provider posted my personal information on some public black list for no good apparent reason other than revenge.

It's essentially a system to protect the GOOD hobbyists while giving some degree of accountability if this good hobbyist does something outrageous.

For the providers: In the event that a trusted hobbyist does something outrageously despicable, you can always trace him back to his vouching providers.

For the hobbyists: It gives you a starting point in hobbying under a fake name and earning trust among providers.  While it can be traced back if you do something outrageous, the solution to this is simple: just don't do something outrageously despicable.  The providers who vouch for you will be in the hot seat for vouching for you so there are some level of accountability.

I've been asked for my real name once in the last year or so. I've probably seen at least fifty new ladies in this country over that same period of time.

I rely almost exclusively on P 411 for screening purposes, AND I try to stick with P 411 providers just because of the convenience factor. I try to add about one new "okay" a month, just to keep my okays current without accumulating hundreds of them, and it seems to work just fine with the ladies I see. It rarely takes any longer than a few minutes to get screened and I often can schedule an appointment within an hour or two after starting my "search"

I read all the time about the various difficulties that many guys seem to have with screening and scheduling and quite frankly, I just don't get it. I don't run into any of these problems that many of you guys complain about, maybe I am just lucky, but I don't think so.

It's a different world of risk for honest review writers.

So you, being a good hobbyist with trusted providers vouching for you, take on the hobby name Happy Thymes. I, as an asshole, ring up a lady, and say, "Hi! This is Happy Thymes! I want to come over and fuck you!"

She says, "Hey, Happy Thymes. Everybody knows you're cool! Would you like to fuck me at 4:00 this afternoon?"

So off I go. When I get there, she says, "You're not what I expected, but since you're Happy Thymes, let's fuck."

How does she verify that she's with the REAL Happy Thymes?

verifying through P411 or Datecheck keeps your identity one step removed from the provider(s).

There is an assumption that those agency don't give out the information to the providers; to the best of my knowledge they do not. And, in my admittedly limited experience, I have been asked for my driver's license only once, very early on in my hobbying.

You have to limit yourself to the ladies that accept 411/DC verification but I found this to be not a problem at all.

Nothing is perfect...

Girls verify lots of different ways, including D-C, P411, board name, TER reviews, back channel references, etc.  Anyone who gives his real name is an ass.  Of course, the smart ones can find it out anyway, but why simply give it to them when there are lots of other ways for girls to assure themselves you're OK.

Some verification is more risky than others. Date-Check and P411 can hide your personal info from providers. If asked for DL you can always cover the address. The most hobbyist unfriendly  verification site is Roomservice2000 which is popular in Chicago.
Providers know your full name and the city you live in. Now if you have an uncommon name it's easy to trace you online. I no longer use Roomservice.

if she has your real name she feels you are less likely to be rough or disrespectful - it is leverage against your good behavior....

Unfortunately a few also want your real name for leverage so that they can keep receiving great review scores.  Ever wonder after you see one of the really highly rated women that was good but not that good how they are able to continue to get all those 10/10s.

If you've got good references and are verified at escort malls.

As long as you can provide me with references or an account of a "Trusted Hobby Name(TM)..lol" on TER,P411,Date-check,etc,etc account with a minimum of 5 reviews or references, than I personally have no need or interest in your "real name". However if there is no "record" of your  participation in this Hobby online or with verified providers than for safety matters I do require your first and last name so that I can google/verifyhim your name so that I can make sure that you arent some kind of whacko or serial killer!!
And again I cant speak for everyone but after I verify you i usually discard your personal information and just keep a record of you in my phone/computer/client list by nickname or description
