First of it's "They're" not their and low not loe. As for names. If you've seen someome a few times I don't have a problem with first names (in fact I know a few ladies full names) but it's a nice touch when they actually remember who the hell you are. None others come to mind. I don't think "honey" had evolved into any kind of code. It has to be a word that fits easily into conversation when referring to someone in the the third person. "Do you know Sam? He's a sweetheart." That kind of thing.
