I love the hobby because I can schedule my time almost down to the exact hour more or less.
No wining, no dining, no drama, no high drama, no seducing, no chasing, no late night text at 5am from a high maintenance girl whining about upset stomach, no rollercoasters, no pressure to meet the parents...
Just pure clean business transaction and you know how much it will cost upfront to get a few pops. Maybe some chit chat. and I can go about my day. I can get home or focus on my work with a clear mind or play games and get drunk til I pass out. Or I can hang with a civvy girl, get some more action... but won't feel too strained if she's on her period or just doesn't feel like it and gives me blue balls.
Hobby: it's the best thing ever invented. Remember, best thing existed before the best thing was invented.
I'm sure most guys agree? Providers probably agree too since they get to make more money than what most lawyers make, doing the same thing: screwing people.

Unfortunately, your 'finger pointing' is at the wrong party. Perhaps you should be targeting the real 'root' of the problem here. And I can tell you firsthand, it's not us women, not by a long shot. However, it sure is easy to blame it on us now isn't it? This is how simple it 'should' be.........

Must be a very difficult bug to find since this bug has been around a long while.
It really is perfect, and so I get frustrated with these guys that fall on love or put too much thought into it. Go have a great time with a great lady when, where, how and with whom you want and then say, buh bye till next time.
It's simple and perfect.
Granted it's not for everyone. For me and a small circle of friends, the FC2 rocks the world.
If you've never experienced a woman with one, it may look a bit awkward.
If you've never used one and you have a new client, it may not be the best thing.
If appointments run for an hour or so, with new partners, it may not be the thing for you.
HOWEVER:
When appointments turn into multiple repeat dates, when hours turn into overnights, or overnights turn into multiple days and nights, the FC2 becomes a seriously amazing tool. Or with threesomes or more, it makes perfect sense for the ladies. Totally logical.
This really is the best thing because men (and some women too)mill always want more sex with more ladies...no matter what they have.
Some may think well if I find a great gal who has a great personality and gives me awesome sex I won't feel the urge to want to do it with another lady and I will stay true to her. Well that's pure BS to me. Even when we find an ATF we don't only stick to that ATF and certainly not for the long term. We still want to find and sample other ladies as much as we can afford to.
So this is the perfect out. Personally for me it allows me to focus on building all the other parts of my marriage that make sense to build with someone who is truly my soul mate, but at the same time get all the sexual satisfaction I need without having to expect my wife to perform to a standard that isn't natural to her. 
So yes, best thing ever invented.

But ultimately I do want much more - such as the wining, dining, drama, seduction, and chasing.
Nice short-term fix, and my year and a half venture has certainly taught me some things, but I'll probably be moving out of this phase of my life before too long.
