It all seems so complicated and intimidating. I am mostly intimidated by my lack of knowledge on discretion and screening. I want the sense to know when something seems out of the ordinary operation of things. I am leaning more into maybe going with an agency or some more experienced ladies.
I have been hobbying only for about 10 months. I have had I think 9 dates. 7 of those dates were with the agency, Desirable Companions. My first 5 dates were with DCMD. They were a great way to break-into the hobby. I had to reveal an uncomfortable amount of information to get screened. They actually called me and asked me questions; throwing out my sister's name and others, asking to confirm birthdays an past addresses that they already had. A little freaky, but so far so good.
I ventured to a Date-check provider, and even, recently got the nerve to try a Backpage provider. I write a lot about the set up and arrival to the hotels in my reviews. I am still learning.
I know how you feel. I haven't been in the hobby long myself. I haven't tried many agency ladies and used to troll BP. Once I found Preferred411.com, I started to gain some direction. You go through the intial screening and its pretty smooth sailing after that. Many of the ladies here are also on that site. People you see can give you okays that act as defacto references.
Also check the newbie page on here. Lots of good advice.
I also reached out to some experienced hobbyists through PM for advice. Most guys are wiling to dole out info if you ask.
Finally, go with your gut. If something doesn't seem right, move on. Someone once told me there are plenty of fish in the sea!

I say post a partial picture, so we can see what some of us daring types think. Maybe a rondevu is in order.
Then find some newbie friendlys or sign up with an agency if possible and they will verify your employment. You can figure out local agencies by looking at the ad board on this website. And don't take P411 or date check as gospel...check the girl for reviews on this website to make sure everything is copacetic.

Missy, you are a good soul. I was reading the OP as a newbie provider looking for some help from experienced providers to get started, just based on this and some other posts. Hard to give specifics without VIP and PM's, though
