I formally object to the explicit word used at the end of this poem. It is unnecessarily distasteful and should not be seen on this board.
I call upon the moderator to delete this posting and the remains of this thread based on the new standard established in the past week for moral acceptability within posting.

I woke early one morning
The earth lay cool and still
When suddenly a tiny bird
Perched on my window sill,
He sang a song so lovely
So carefree and so gay,
That slowly all my troubles
began to slip away..
He sang of far off places
Of laughter and of fun,
It seemed his very trilling
brough up the morning sun.
I stirred beneath the covers
Crept slowly out of bed,

That poem was too cute! And I thought I was the only one that wasn't a morning person.

Three Little Birds. You see, Bob would get up in the morning, go to his doorstep, roll up a fatty and start the day. Three birds would always come by and eat the seeds that he discarded, which led to the song.

Hi, Just a suggestion, sometimes I include a [sarcasm mode on] at the beginning and [sarcasm mode off] at the end of a totally sarcastic message just so's no one gets offended... A smiley might help lol
