that past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. So you will keep trying and she will keep standing you up.

Just remember hobbying rule number one - it is not about you.

And sports rule number one applies here, too. Play the game that is in front of you, not the game you want to play, or expected to play. This is not about setting up a normal date with a highly rated provider any more. It is about how both of you react to a string of missed dates. You have history and baggage now. So make your choice - keep trying and gathering more new and different excuses, or go see someone else.

Of course, you might beat the odds and find that doing the same thing again results in a different outcome. But that is a long shot.

A provider stood me up twice before and after another attempt at an appointment she wasn't able to make it due to a power outage keeping her car stuck in the garage. I emailed her asking if we'll be able to make it tonight or if we should reschedule for sometime this week. She hasn't gotten back yet.

I tried the third time because she looks super hot and her reviews were great. But now I"m wondering if I should just give up and look for another one. What should I do?

but I will validate you with a civil answer. Just move on. Too many fish on both sides to stress over it.

You don't say why she stood you up the first two times, but... time to grow cojones and take them elsewhere amigo...

What is it with all these NS posts anyway? Boring......................................................

I think I would drown my sorrows in someone who looks even hotter, with better reviews -- and better social skills.

But after being stood up three times, you still want to try to see her?
Sure, why not? May as well keep trying now that you've come this far. Maybe after the tenth time you get stood up, you will actually get to see her, and have a terrible session you can write a review on. Or maybe she'll blacklist you for being a stalker after she stands you up 5 times and you keep contacting her.

...how long it took you to figure out she didnt want to see you

Sooner or later you'll get together and when you do it'll be wild beyond all your dreams!

We just had a thread not long ago about the rush and excitement of anticipation. It seems like Mr. Frost is living in the womb of that exhilaration. He'll more than get his money's worth. If you calculate it fifty cents per waking hour as he's looking forward to the experience. He must really have one on for this lady or he'd have scratched long ago.

I say run it through. Remember Kathy Miller: "I might not win this race, but by God, I'm going to finish!"

The problem with all the BS excuses is well ... they are BS and the teller is insulting your intelligence by thinking you're "dumb" enough to believe the BS.

Shit happens in real life and people need to cancel at times, but 3 times? Really? I'd be tempted to cancel on her, but that would be childish. Move on. There are a few "super hot" providers who don't act like 12 year old, spoiled, children. Go find one ...
