I've been drinking and making typos and shit, and some people (I won't say who) are coming down on me for reckless posting. I've even found myself engaging in some good-natured thread rage myself this evening.
But I started thinking although I swore not to, can I be sanctioned? Punished? Banned? Is posting under the influence an offense on this stinking fuckboard or what? I'd better pull over and have a cup of joe or something and not type anymore of these goddamn words.

But last night almost blew some chunky chunky... 
Sounds like quite a mess.
if they punished PUI (Posting Under the Influence).
Then again if you post drunk and make a fool of yourself too many times, everyone will scorn your "stupid ass" behavior and ignore you.
I've learned to put my computer away if I go out drinking (i.e. to a strip club). So that I will not be able to find it/turn it on...if I come home drunk.
I rarely drink, though you cant tell it by my posting. Now if the banned people for stupid, I would likely get the axe.

I told them I didn't need an intervention just yet, but promised to keep them posted.
TER has never kicked someone off for posting while drunk, or posting while stupid, but you just broke one of their cardinal rules:
Posting personal information of members or providers, including content copied from their emails and Private Messages, is grounds for BANISHMENT. This includes PMs between TER and members.

And yes, I am one of the few in the remaining 1%.
I PUI approximately 67.83% of the times that I post, factor in that sometimes I'm PUI and at the same time PWS (posting while stupid) and that there are times I'm PWS that I'm not PUI and....wh...wh...what? Strike that, just pretend that I didn't just type that (note to self, don't attempt to make up statistical data even when not PUI'ing as it adds to your PWS). And imagine this, I haven't started drinking for the evening, yet.
I just want to get my Dick sucked, is that too much to ask?
By the way, anyone who is so inclined, for what can you get kicked out?
Can actually get you banned. The big one is outing other members or posting personal info. Providers can also get banned for writing self reviews.
Lots of things can get you moderated, and a few things can get you suspended from posting for a week or a month etc., but very few things can get you outright banned.
so how do you know if you're being moderated? And what exactly does that entail? It's obvious to me that if you are suspended, that someone from TER admin will contact you to inform you, right?
Moderation:
When you're moderated your posts don't go up right away. They are held for minutes to hours (depending how busy admin is) until someone from admin can read them and then post it. When you ate not moderated, your posts go up instantly (except for random moderation which can happen to anyone, where random posts are held by TER's system.) You were moderated when you were new. All new members are moderated until they establish a posting history. After you get unmoderated you can always be put back on moderation by admin for violating rules. (or pissing them off)
Banning:
When you are banned you can't even log on. If you attempt to log on you get a red message that says. "you have been banned"
Suspended from posting:
This one I am not positive on, (the above two situations I am positive on) but I believe you probably can still log on, but you just won't be allowed to post.
And no, someone from TER admin does not inform you if you fall into one of these situations. You just find out when you try to post or log on
