I know a guy, who isn't me. Who has this type of animosity with his provider IRL.

 
The story is crazy, it all stems from his mothers white guilt. His relationship is with a black woman, and she abuses him psychologically, he is always talking about how he hates dealing with her, so I know he enjoys the abuse.  

 
I'm thinking of becoming his agent.

your lamentations are an example of what you are lamenting.

Just yesterday I read a  column in the newspaper by someone lamenting how often any opinions expressed in the paper are bemoaning something or another.

But to address your point:

There is just something about the human condition that makes us want to spend time and effort to point out deficiencies and to ignore anything the goes right.  Perhaps that's what is at the very nature of all the problems in human interaction.

One book I read about business management says that bosses should go out and catch employees doing something right once in a while rather than the opposite.  I tried that for a while and got odd looks.  Obviously millions of years of conditioning is going to take a while to change.

So, if it is any comfort, just know that it isn't just us that this affects.  It is pretty much this way the world over.  But if you'd like to contribute an upbeat post now and then, you certainly have my permission

... any gent who posts something positive about providers and/or the hobby in general is castigated, e.g. labeled a "mangina".  I've observed this behavior not only on the GD board but on at least some of the local boards.  And ladies who post something positive about being a provider are taken to task for posting in a "threAD" or are lambasted in some other way.

Which is why I don't post very much.  I too am happy with the opportunity to "get naked and hook up" with some wonderful ladies.  The hobby isn't perfect, but I'm not perfect and am not seeking perfection.

If they really didn't like the hobby, they wouldn't be here at all.

I'm very proud that when I see a lady I've seen before, and I walk into her room and she closes it, coming out from behind it, I more often than not get the very big surprised and happy it's me smile. I can guess how bad some clients can be, I'm just happy that I seem to be one of the good ones. And if so many of these ladies are fooling me to make me feel good, the good for them, they're good actresses because it' worked.

Like you Jaye, I like to focus on the positive, and my life since my divorce and starting the hobby is as happy as it's ever been.

ut I agree with you -    ultimately the percentage of problems that we all experience are low - unless we are the problem ourselves....

heck - I could not be happier.  

This year I have only given one score less than an 8 -   and I have given a handful of 10s.

I get flack from some guys about my review scores sometimes actually -

I honestly don't think that I am "inflating" -  rather,   I simply treat providers very very well -  and they respond in kind.   I do a good job of picking ladies I have good reason to know that I am going to be happy with as well.....

anyone out there who consistently is unhappy in this sport needs to take a good look at themselves....

Mind you, when most people post, they aren't somewhere else, doing "happy stuff" which leads to the pretty wide margin of other (less desirable) "feelings"-  
And yes, a lot of the ladies, do bitch...
I guess they didn't have a granny like mine.

Keep your head up. Don't worry about everyone else's bullshit, unless it directly effects you.
After all, the ones who do this, are given a wide berth by those who do not.

When I'm feeling ungrateful and bitter...

I just find my:

Every night it's 60 to 90 minutes of war, murder, rape, government corruption, natural disaster, celebrity divorces, warnings from the CDC, fuel shortages/price hikes, public transportation tragedies, anon anon anon.

 "Misery loves company". From the looks of it we're a pretty miserable culture.

So...why are you complaining about this, or should I say, criticizing it?

Think about it, if we all were just going on about how wonderful things are, would you have done an OP declaring how lovely it was that we all were having such a beautiful time?

Except for GaGambler and a few others, most of us keep this a pretty close secret.

While I believe most of our experiences are positive, problems will arise from time to time. Such is the way of life.

Problems can be pretty emotional or stressful for those involved, keeping that bottled up can be damaging to your soul and ego.  Who else can you tell who would actually understand the position you are in?  

Not many people you can tell, but here you can.

I haven't posted much, but many of the posts here about other's complaints are things likely other people have encountered as well, admitting it or not.  

It is very helpful to see this topics get hashed out.  I try to understand the viewpoint each person has, since only they have walked in their shoes, even if we walk down similar paths.

I have to admit there are times thoughout the course of hobby activity I imagine "how would mrfisher, gagambler, scoed react right now?".

It is human nature that bad news travels faster and further than good news, and we probably remember the complaints longer too.

Also have to consider the great percentage of people here in the first place because of a bitter marriage or other situation that likely also builds up resentful emotions within, which also may be hard to discuss with others.

We should be here for each other, good times and bad.
