That is more interesting than the normal dribble here, but I personally do not use prostitutes, nor do I know of anyone who does.  However the theory could hold true for Providers, I suppose.

I have met a few judgmental Providers.  Having said that, I think openness and honesty are achieved in the hobby more so than elsewhere.  Certainly more than politics, marriage and Canasta.

If God was an elective office, I think God would get more attention.  That's for sure.  I also think God, should get a percentage of Greek up-charges.  I'm not saying that to secure my passage through the pearly gates.   Its just the right thing to do.

I was talking with a religious friend who doesn't know I hobby & the conversation turned to prostitution & he quoted a theologian who said that guys who use prostitutes are really looking for God.

I think it refers to us looking for someone we can be completely open & honest with, who will accept us & love us & not pass judgement on us.

What do you all think? Politics is all a bunch of crap & it really won't matter in the long run who becomes the next president. How about we talk about something that does matter.

And if I can score some booze at the same time, so much the better!!

I'd sure as hell be looking for and expecting more than an enjoyable aerobic workout and 15 seconds worth of getting my NUT.

None of the ladies I see fit that word, just trying to be accurate with the quote quote.

Titles was an interesting thread on another board.

"If God was an elective office, I think God would get more attention."

This is undeniably true so, in teh spirit of trying to create much more interest in god and his mysterious ways, I think we should pledge to work tirelessly to make the position of god an elective office.

I'd like to also be the first to make a nomination and I proudly nominate Hank Aaron.

" That's for sure.  I also think God, should get a percentage of Greek up-charges."

Only if we assume that god is really Uranus.

Yes, the truth is that ultimately we are all searching for God but we search for God in "other things" i.e. sex, food, career, TV, movies, money, travel, marriage, etc. But the thing is - when we get what we desire it's not enough and we always want more or something else. No material desire is complete in this world so desires are insatiable and we want more and more. After fulfilling all of our desires or transmuting all the desires after many lives from incarnation to incarnation, then our consciousness become evolved like the true saints of all religions then we will want God or Truth and nothing else. That's when we become free and liberated from all suffering and attachments by rising above the duality of this world and we become truly happy and complete like Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, St Francis, etc.  We search for meaning outside ourselves by indulging our senses when the answer is found within ourselves. The fastest way to achieve liberation is to still the mind and go within through meditation.

I can say with confidence that I am not searching for this "god" person / thingy / creature.

I hobby because I want sex.  The reason I want sex is because it feels physically good.  There is no "spiritual" component.
