In general, it's not such a good idea to open your home up, especially if you have an SO whom you do not want to know about your hobbying.
Women are very adept at finding clues left behind. I swear they can even pick up the other gals' vibrations.
I have a really good home monitoring system, so I'm not too concerned about letting a provider in my house. Besides, I think I do a pretty darn hood job of choosing providers.
But I don't have to concern myself with a SO finding female stuff because there isn't one to do so. And yes, I am bragging.
In my current living situation I can't. For some guys it's fine, for some not so much.
I have once with someone I researched and it was amazing and a little weird all at the same time. I am trying to set something up with a long time provider who I trust and lives sort of far away. The timing is always a little tricky and I do worry about my neighbors sometimes.
They can get their own provider if they want one.
I just don't give a fuck what my neighbors think. As long as I'm not disturbing the peace, it's none of their damn business who's at my house. And visa versa, I don't stick my nose in their business.

I would have to fly the provider in. Since the airport here is small, airfare is steep. Then there's the neighbors, who are proud members of the Bible Belt. I'd have to pull into the garage quickly.
At my age I don't think I'd be able to take full advantage of a booking that long. It would be fun to have one of the ladies here, but there wouldn't be any more action than what there is currently at a 3 or 4 hour session.
Most of my meetings are in my home. I live alone and I see a small number of ladies. They are comfortable with meeting me there.
I really have to be very comfortable with the lady. In all the years I've been doing this, the grand total is 2.
And I've done it with some regularity in the four years since. No problems yet (knocking on wood while typing).
A few caveats.
1. Didn't start to play until my wife and I separated. Live alone, with limited visibility from the neighbors.
2. I screen as thoroughly as any of the ladies.
3. My first date with a new escort always starts with a public meeting, dinner, etc. Can usually get a pretty good read during that time - if its good, I don't hesitate to invite her back to my place. If in doubt, I usually spring for the hotel room.
Advantages are that I don't have to worry about a pimp/bf/rip off (although that's not a big concern with well reviewed providers), I get to control the mood (music, lighting, wine, etc), I don't have to worry about messy or nasty incalls, getting lost, sitting in a hotel parking lot waiting for a half hour, animal allergies or smoky rooms, and, most importantly, I don't have to worry (nearly as much) about a legal sting or bust.
Last night I was in a cab with one of the most exciting women in our business, and she was available and hoping, but her place was off, too late to find a hotel room, and...
I'm not married; I live alone. But I do not like to bring women to my residence for...we'll call it privacy and security reasons.
Oh, well, I was WAY to drunk anyway, so she got out at a club and I went home, brushed my teeth, showered, put on my pajamas, flopped on the bed and instantly fell fast asleep.
Maybe I should rethink my concerns about bringing women into my home.
I understand .I would like to save the money on the room, as some great providers dont always have IC, however in the back of my mind I always worry they may say something to someone & I could get robbed. the reputable providers are not going to do that as they are discreet and just want to be safe, work with good clients and make their money, but it is always in the back of my mind
I prefer outcalls, because after a provider has rocked my world and taken my legs away it's nice to not have to go anywhere. I understand that most ladies prefer incall, not exactly sure why. There are a few ladies that I've seen multiple times, that now that they know and trust me I'll ask them which hotel they are going to stay at so I can get a room at the same hotel, this way when I have rubber band legs it's just an elevator ride back to my room.
One of my favorite girls, for whom I was screening at the time, came by for a romp. Of course, no money was exchanged since she paid me in "free muff." Does that count?

If a client ever got upset with me about anything or got too attached, or just turned on me, I just wouldn't feel comfortable with him knowing where I live.
But assuming that were not an issue -
Hell NO.
Security issues aside, I am really not interested in spending time (or getting a maid) to tidy up the place up and then paying a premium for the privilege. This is supposed to be fun. Getting myself spruced up for the occasion is enough.

Then again, I was also broke and had nothing to steal back then. Though I have to say, all the out calls that ever came to my place were pretty damn nice. From 1992 through 1996 I must've had at least a hundred over (hence why I was broke, lol), some of them multiple times in a row.
