END OF MESSAGE

A couple months back I saw a provider and performed cunilingus on her. White fluid came out and got on my face, a bit got into my mouth as well. A few weeks after that encounter I started experiencing unusual things. My neck broke out horribly. I feel tired and lethargic all the time. My body shakes and I just feel lousy. Not sure what it is. Any chance I could have got HIV from this or possibly an infection?

Why not go and see your doctor?

Based on your comments you may have the flu?

First issue is that the sex worker is of unknown HIV status. Just that right there would bring his risk to WELL under 1%.

And if she was HIV positive AND he had a cut, the odds would only slightly increase as HIV does not have a long life span in the mouth.

I don't think an HIV test kit from Walmart is sound advice.

I would recommend he see his family doctor and have him/her access his risk and determine what course to take.

but yeah, your advice is spot on.

I don't know if there has ever been a confirmed cased of HIV being transmitted by DATY. The odds are not just low, they are astronomical.

If I thought I might have HIV,  I'd want to buy a testing kit from a more reputable medical supply retailer than WalMart.  For a bicycle tire pump? Sure. For a test for AIDS? Uh no. ;)

Could be.

I'm going to stick with Sears, though. I've had really good luck with my Craftsman 50 Amp HIV Testing Kit.

Sear holdings division of personal care/pharmaceutical sales. Get it right, or get it wrong.

Capitalism... the light, the way, the true salvation. Mmmmm brains!

And who said I'm getting it from kmart?  Do they sell 18amp high powered HIV kits?  Sears usually has the high powered appliances.

LMFAOOooooooooo

Brain cells to decipher humor: you either have it or you don't.

Then wipe the Q-Tip in this Petri dish.

Really, though, go to the doctor. We can't tell you anything, but I don't think HIV does all of that. It doesn't take over your entire face like an infection. Lots of people walk around with HIV and have no idea...

I provided a link about the early onset of HIV... I do think, (and by think, I mean I'm not even up to chemistry 201, and don't even know if there is a chemistry 201,) contracting another STD does heighten the risk, but... Ask your doctor.

One thing to note, any type of infection should be taken care of immediately by a doctor. Some STD's can be cured, BUT they can become detrimental if not taken care of.

Between you and the gal, you should at least tell her about the itchy white stuff so she can get checked out. It sounds like yeast, but again, I am not a doctor. I only play one during role play sessions.

Good luck,

Dr. Courtney

Maybe you were the second date of the morning...

For now I will just stick with getting a full panel blood test and go from there if all else fails. I highly doubt I have the flu or SARS. I have no cough whatsoever and I don't think the flu would last for more than 3 months straight. I have not seen a provider since the encounter and do not plan on doing so until I get this straightened out. If I do again, I will be extra cautious in what activities I partake in and how I perform them, because this is a dangerous game in more ways than one. Hopefully it's something not related to a sexual encounter, just a bacterial infection or what not.

You were with a provider & a few weeks later experience symptoms, so in all the time that passed you didn't ever not once forget to wash your hands after going to the mall, grocery store, or simply after counting your own money? Providers are generally the most clean ppl., I'm not saying every single one (but were a hell of alot safer than the civvie girl leaving the bar with a dif guy every night doing bb) & hiv is something that someone can have for years & pass onto others while not ever experiencing the symptoms......
But dude, why would the 1st you do is come to this board- knowing the other drama queens will all jump in & force ya to out the provider & bash her name, when the fact is ya are experiencing simple flu symptoms which will pass in about 10days. As for the rash, did it go away? Probly just an alergic reaction to something which starts immediately after you have come in contact with something- not weeks later.
I get the flu every year sometimes twice & I always feel like I'm dieing or feel like I want to die- cuz it's miserable- Make a doctor's appt. & don't go getting on sex boards trying to cause drama so everyone can freak out if theyre with a provider.
