I felt like I was on some 007 shit one time meeting a provider in a key card hotel

I'm waiting by the elevators texting her, she's telling me to hold on, she's sending someone with a key. There happens to be a table with two courtesy phones on it right there. I'm standing by one, another gentleman is standing by the other. I feel awkward. This goes on for what feels like an eternity. I'm about to leave but head to the lobby bar instead to have a drink and try to blend in. Suddenly I get a text to go back to the elevators and look under the phone on the right for the key card. Turns out the guy was waiting for me to leave the elevator area to make the drop.

Lately a lot of my dates have been at key card hotels what huge pain in the ass. Yesterday I text for entry instructions  10 minutes before our set time . 10 minutes later I get text meet me in the lobby. I'm standing like a lost tourist looking for the liberty bell when I get a text I'm in camo pants jump on the elevator . This is a 600 rose date . Boom door opens she looked like my cleaning lady. Hair in a bun and I understand u don't want to call attention but it kills the thrill! We should boycott these keycard hotels . Touring ladies should have a list of no- no hotels. Who the hell wants this added drama !!

I just love it when they argue with you about this. I told the booker that it was a key card hotel and he (guys should not be the phone voice of escorts, but that is another rant) swears to me that the escort says no key card is needed. I get on the elevator and press the button and ~ NaDa ~ nothing happens. I am getting pissed when a nice lady enters and uses her key card to go to my floor! How lucky! I still bitched to the escort and the booker. This shit is unforgivable.

An escort should definitely give a headsup about a keycard elevator at the hotel. A encounter like that will spook some guys, make some kind of pre-arrangement to make it smooth as possible. Imagine a customer dumb enough to go to the front desk and asking for a key so he can see the escort on the fifth floor.

A lot of us know there are  hotels in CC that don't use key cards for the elevators and that touring providers tend to frequent them for that reason. Doesn't seem like it's much work to research that information before booking an in call. That said, I really don't mind it when a girl has to meet me in the lobby. In my experience, the girl is usually well dressed for a public area and it's a turn on to watch her strip after we're in private. (And if she's not as advertised, you can beat a quick retreat.)

Problem is, sometimes the hotels are constantly changing them...  I don't use hotels that much as I have an incall locally but it is a pain for outcall as well... Just something we all have to deal with...

I really think hotels are just trying to keep their patrons and guest safe, they;re not out to get us.

Years ago i was staying in Miami for a wedding and a woman staying at the hotel was attacked in her room... She was dressed conservative and I was all super slutty, going out with my girlfriends for bachelorette parties and all...

Messy hair in bun only works if it looks sexxxy... I guess it depends on the lady what turns you, the client on... If casual won't work at all I would make that clear in your appointment inquiry..

I believe I was casual, just form ballet class when I met you years ago so sorry if I disappointed as well... It's not for everyone, but I don't charge $600/hour.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but having a dude deliver the key would have spooked me.  I know that some girls have "security" but I don't want to know about it.

I had a girl hide the key between the balustrades of the stairs that were just off the elevator bank.  I felt so stupid and vulnerable trying to locate it without being obvious if anyone from the hotel were to ask, "May I help you?"

I also sense the the card become necessary in the evening but not during the day.

Some of the key operated elevators will take you to designated floors and you can go there and wait to be picked up.  It avoids the provider getting out on the lobby floor.

So many nuances and tricks to the trade

It's not like he handed it to me. He was leaving it for me to find. I eventually put 2 & 2 together that it took so long because the guy standing there was the guy leaving it and was waiting for me to leave

I understand that he did not approach you and was discreet, but the concept of a guy shadowing a provider, as a "handler", "muscle" or "security" or"bf or SO" just sort of creeps me out.  Logic says it happens more often than we know, but it presents the specter of a threat.
"

they're becoming the standard, not going away. Nothing to blame the gals about here.

But.... the bag lady look doesn't make for a good first impression and some guys aren't cut out for the James Bond elevator dash either. The ladies can sure help to fix those.

Hell, meet in the bar or by the lobby phone/restrooms, even meet outside and walk in together or trailing one another. There have to be a lot of ways to make things work without the awkward cloak and dagger and still maintain enough "lobby discretion".

I think it would be better to see some constructive ideas tossed around.

In some instances the awkwardness is totally on the lazy provider who doesn't want to get dressed and ride the damn elevator to greet you. More than once I have been told to lurk at the elevators and hitch a ride with guests with key cards. One time I hitched a ride with hotel staff who kicked me off. Between delays in email messages the session began 25 minutes late.

Most key card hotels don't require a key for the 2nd or 3rd floors where the public meeting rooms are located.  I will take the stairs or the elevator up and have the lady meet me on those floors. I absolutely hate waiting to be met in the lobby.

I obviously won't say much here, but please expect more and more and more hotels, particularly high-end hotels, to start requiring key cards.

It doesn't have to be the buzzkill mentioned here.

Get creative and make it fun. Seriously - its possible to make this easy, breezy and pleasant to deal with.

Additionally, there is no reason to leave a gent waiting in the lobby: that has nothing to do with the hotel but rather manners and professionalism.

Good luck!
