I stay pretty much to myself, I'm not part of any associations or groups, but I am curious about growing my bag of tricks and meeting successful men in my personal life who appreciate a strong, intelligent woman who enjoys taking the lead/control in AND outside the boudoir.
I do travel: NYC/BOSTON?CHICAGO/PHILLY esp., so if you have any spots/advice on connecting with like-minded people...fill me in!!

And thanks for the informative feedback, very thoughtful and interesting responses.  Smiley face.

Looks like they were raided on 7/17/13 not for BDSM-related reasons, but because the club was being used as a front for the illegal manufacturing of synthetic drugs and money laundering related thereto.

The one time I visited when they were still open, that place was dead-dead-dead.  Maybe a dozen people total in a very large building.  It seemed more of a TS "working girl" pick-up place than a dungeon play party.

To address the climate of the area in general . . . Once you get off The Strip, Las Vegas is a surprisingly conservative and prudish town, and Nevada State laws designed to protect against domestic violence tipped the scales too far to the right, so that BDSM is essentially illegal in Nevada.  You take a HUGE risk hosting a party in your home.

RokkkKrinn brings up the swingers issue.  I find it funny, because it's almost a West Side Story Jets vs. Sharks thing, but, usually, swingers and kinksters don't tend to play well together.  There are a multitude of reasons (alcoholics vs. non-alcoholics, touchy/feely vs. consensual touching only, homophobic toward men vs. accepting male-on-male play, etc.).  It's my understanding from talking to Vegas-based kinksters that Sin City is really more of a swinger city.  That's probably why The Green Door is still there.

Heard about this club, but not sure it's still in existence.
Anyone been?

ROKK seems like your type of place

For a town that markets itself as "Sin City", this place is remarkably prudish in some ways.  Somehow or other, the Green Door has managed to stay open for what seems like decades--but throw some kink in there with the swinging stuff and it becomes a big no-no.

I know there are private play parties in this town, but I think you really have to be a known quantity in "the scene" to get invited.  They don't want looky-loos or "tourists" crashing their thing.

As of last month, they're open 7 days/week and those in female clothing get in free/inexpensively.

Also, try Fetlife. There are quite a few Vegas groups sponsoring munches, play parties, etc.
