Quales can't easily be translated into some numerical system. We tried that with the TER review scorecard. Most agree that it's very subjective and imprecise (not necessarily a bad thing in regards to reviews), others have stronger opinions about the shortcomings. But what then is the point of such a question? I'll grant you that it draws attention to the many variations of depravity, so as a rhetorical "statement" it is sensible. Beyond that...what?
