Here is a question for the gents and especially the ladies. In the U.S. a woman would not typically date or marry a man that is more than 5 - 7 years older than her. In other countries like those in South America, Eastern Europe and the Far East, it is not unusual to see a man dating or marrying a woman 20 years her senior. Sometimes you would even see as much as 30 years difference. In the U.S., you only see that in Hollywood but not your typical American scenario. So..should a big age difference prohibit older men and younger women coming together???
Those countries you name whom have the large gap in the age ... The girls usually do not have a chose or are treated like a THING .... Watch the documentary It's a Girl currently on netflix
But I think females are more mature then the male species so dating someone older doesn't bother me... But I believe it's chemistry!!! Age really doesn't exsist to those who have chemistry... It's the outsiders whom usually has judgements...

Serious chemistry. At 26 I had an enormous crush on a 43 year old. At 32 I dated a 49 year old. At 20 I had a fling with a 46 year old, all by choice.
I am naturally attracted to men over a certain age. I could care less about statistics. If someone makes me feel amazing, better bet I care less about what everyone else is doing or thinking.

and of all the "real" relationships i have been in over the last decade or so, the oldest has been in her mid thirties, and most have been mid twenties, so yes it can be done.
but if you think it's hard to stay in shape at forty, just wait until forty is a distant memory. At forty I could still take six months off from the gym and be back in shape in a couple of weeks, now it takes me six months to get in shape, and if I go more than a couple of weeks without hitting the gym it's like starting all over again. Research shows that the best chance for a long term relationship is when the man is four years older than the woman. In particular when they meet in their 20s. Women mature faster than men. As you get older that difference doesn't mean as much.

After I turned 30, I was amazed that age really didn't matter to me very much. I like physically attractive women, and age at some point robs a woman of beauty as conventionally defined, but age itself really hasn't mattered to me.
I remember feeling that this was very unusual, and for the place and time I still think it was unusual. That was all before any P4P, and now it's just a matter of finding women who are mature enough to have some common history with. So...maybe instead of mid 20s, now I gravitate to early to mid 30s.
