I also like the Omni (The Franklin, now) for the Lobby and Lobby/Bar area - very Old-World opulent.

And don't forget to let me know when you're shooting!!! ;)

Today's online edition of Philadelphia Magazine, in anticipation of Valentine's Day, has an article on romantic, sexy hotels in Philadelphia.  Since this forum regularly gets requests for lodging suggestions from visitors, I thought it would be nice to post the link and maybe the regulars will remember it and refer inquirers to it.

I have stayed at five of these locations and all of them are nice and conveniently located, but one, the Monaco, has the dreaded room card activated elevator.  The others are generally above my pay grade, but maybe my ship will come in soon.

I'm trying the Penn's View soon - jacuzzi and fireplace in some of the rooms, for about $160 plus tax

room are small and "ambiance" is so-so on the lower end.

I will say, the wine bar is awesome!

Try the Omni and walk to the Penns View for the wine bar. Or Amada is on the way - can't beat their tapas.

PM me if you are interested-- he's really reasonable and if even 2-3 of us go in the cost will be minimal.
I can get in touch with him and see what he has for dates.  A Sunday/Mon prob the cheapest and quietest.
Get make up done at MAC for the cost of product...easy breezy and we can always use new pics!
