Its kinda odd but there really arent too many tourists to the area, imho. I would love a Mariott there though- then I may start returning, LOL!

would somebody write a letter to Marriott and asked them to put a four star hotel in King of Prussia to match their malls and the surrounding areas that would be so great right now it seems like nothing but three-star hotels kind of sucks for such an area with so many people there??

They are tired of busting people in low class joints.  They want to lurk in 4 star luxury too.

It's not a big tourist area but there are a lot of large companies so a lot of businessmen in that area during the week.  Marriott would clean up,with a nice hotel in that area.  As far as LE, they are busting the high volume BP providers who don't do much screening.  I do 90% of my hobbying in that area and I'm not worried because I see highly reviewed, reputable providers.

I wonder why they don't have anything-  they have a pretty nice one in Conshocken-  King of Prussia is fairly easy to get to Philadelphia, plus like you stated you have the mall, you aren't also have Valley Forge state park nearby- it would make perfect sense

Marriott has 4200 properties in 79 countries. They know the hospitality business. I suspect they have their well researched reasons why not to place a high end property in KOP. Think about it: Would you pay north of $250-300 per night to stay in KOP? Not likely.
